  • Publication number: 20080179000
Abstract: In a thermal activation method for a heat-sensitive adhesive sheet 2 which has a heat-sensitive adhesive layer 2a on one surface thereof and is to be stuck to an adherend 1, when a surface roughness of the adherend 1 is large, by heating the heat-sensitive adhesive layer 2a with large thermal energy, an adhesive is allowed to easily enter recesses 1a of the adherend. When the surface roughness of the adherend 1 is small, by heating the heat-sensitive adhesive layer 2a with small thermal energy, a viscosity of the adhesive is increased to thereby prevent the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet 2 from sliding and being peeled. The surface roughnesses of the adherends 1 may be classified for each material of the adherends 1, and the classified surface roughnesses may be judged according to each material of the adherends 1 to thereby determine the thermal energy.

  • Patent number: 7291138
Abstract: A rear elastic area formed by a rear waist region with rear waist elastic members stretchable laterally across the rear waist region. A front elastic area formed by a front waist region with front waist elastic members stretchable laterally across the front waist region. The rear waist region and the front waist region are capable of stretching or contracting in unison. A greater number of rear waist elastic members than front waist elastic members are provided. The rear elastic area is broader than the front elastic area with respect to the longitudinal direction of the diaper body. The body-hugging capability of the diaper body at the rear waist side of the wearer is increased so that the diaper body is prevented from slipping down. This configuration reduces constructive feeling by ensuring that the diaper body is not excessively tight at the front waist side of the wearer.

  • Patent number: 7168870
Abstract: A thermal activation method for a heat-sensitive adhesive sheet having a front end and a rear end. A heat-sensitive adhesive sheet is conveyed between a thermal head for generating heat and a platen roller by rotating the platen roller against the thermal head to thermally activate the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet. The thermal head is driven to cause the thermal head to generate heat in synchronization with conveyance of the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet by the platen roller so that the thermal head starts generating heat before the front end of the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet enters between the thermal head and the platen roller and while the platen roller rotates less than once between the point at which the thermal head starts generating heat and the point at which the front end of the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet enters between the thermal head and the platen roller.
