Patent number: 5412662Abstract: A memory testing device having n test channels for simultaneously testing n memories. A pattern generator generates a sequence of test patterns each including a write enable signal, expected value data, write data and an address signal. In each test channel, the write enable signal WE is repeatedly applied via the AND gate to a terminal WE of the corresponding memory under test to write the data thereinto at an address designated by the address signal. Data read out therefrom is compared to the expected value data to produce a comparison result. The comparison result is used to control the AND gate so that when the comparison result indicates coincidence between the compared data, the write enable signal WE is inhibited.Type: GrantFiled: October 29, 1993Date of Patent: May 2, 1995Assignee: Advantest CorporationInventors: Tatsuya Honma, Tatsuo Kinugasa, Minoru Imai

Patent number: 5078013Abstract: A high-damping probe capable of obtaining not only sound velocity information but also other ultrasonic information useful for ultrasonic testing, such as the frequency and amplitude of the received wave, and also capable of increasing the accuracy of ultrasonic testing of structures made of concrete or other materials. The high-damping probe includes a transducer having a low-frequency damper attached thereto. By virtue of the above-described arrangement, the transmission wave will not oscillate for a long period of time and it is therefore possible to clearly discriminate between the transmission wave and the received wave. Since the received wave can be distinctly separated from the transmission wave, it is possible to obtain ultrasonic information such as the frequency and amplitude of the received wave. Further, it is possible to impart wide-band frequency characteristics to the probe, so that it becomes conformable to an ultrasonic testing device wherein the transmission frequencyt is variable.Type: GrantFiled: February 23, 1990Date of Patent: January 7, 1992Assignee: Shimizu Construction Co., Ltd.Inventors: Mitsugu Kuramochi, Minoru Imai

Patent number: 4978498Abstract: A method of removing a binder from a green body capable of accomplishing the binder removal at a substantially reduced temperature and in a significantly reduced period of time. The binder mainly consists of a polymer material of ultraviolet degradation properties such as, for example, a polymer material having a main chain containing a tertiary carbon atom. The green body is irradiated with ultraviolet rays at a temperature within the range of 150.degree. C. to 300.degree. C. under an atmospheric pressure to rapidly carry out the photo degradation of the polymer material by ultraviolet rays, so that the binder may be readily removed from the green body.Type: GrantFiled: February 14, 1990Date of Patent: December 18, 1990Assignee: Nippon Welding Rod Company, Ltd.Inventors: Yoshiro Yoshihiro, Masahiro Adachi, Minoru Imai

Patent number: 4873145Abstract: A substantially water-resistant resin-coated aggregate for use in concrete includes a porous aggregate body, such as an artificial light weight aggregate, with an elastic layer made of a phenol resin elastomer deposited on the aggregate body, a rigid phenol resin coated on the elastic covered aggregate body. This resin-coated aggregate has a high water absorption prevention and further an external stress-damping function.Type: GrantFiled: November 26, 1986Date of Patent: October 10, 1989Assignee: Shimitzu Construction Co., Ltd.Inventors: Takeji Okada, Minoru Sawaide, Minoru Imai, Daisuke Tachibana

Patent number: 4804283Abstract: The invention provides a ribbon feed device wherein a ribbon take-up mechanism located on a ribbon frame which is mounted for up and down pivotal motion on a carrier and carrying thereon an elongated ribbon along a platen takes up the ribbon in response to upward pivotal motion of the ribbon frame in order to effect printing of a character or erasing of a printed character. During downward pivotal motion of the ribbon frame, the path of the ribbon is bent by a pressing member secured to the carrier to remove possible slacking of the ribbon which may appear along a ribbon feeding route upon printing or erasing operation so as to apply suitable tension to the ribbon.Type: GrantFiled: October 30, 1987Date of Patent: February 14, 1989Assignee: Tokyo Electric Co., Ltd.Inventor: Minoru Imai

Patent number: 4759663Abstract: A method of placing concrete into a steel encasement constructing an offshore structure. The steel encasement is erected. A plurality of first concrete injection holes are formed through the steel encasement in a heightwise spaced manner. The concrete is injected through the lowest disposed concrete injection hole into the erected steel encasement to a level below another concrete injection hole disposed just above said lowest disposed concrete injection hole. Then, the injection step is repeated in connection with a subsequent first concrete injection hole nearest to the level, to which the concrete has been placed, for placing the concrete into the steel encasement to a predetermined level.Type: GrantFiled: November 19, 1986Date of Patent: July 26, 1988Assignees: Nippon Kokan K.K., Shimizu Construction Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hideo Watanabe, Tomoo Suzuki, Takayoshi Ota, Gaku Matsumoto, Tomohiro Bessho, Tamiki Koyama, Katuhiko Kimura, Yasuo Kajioka, Minoru Imai
