    Abstract: A pair of bosses are formed in the vicinity of a cut out portion of a lower casing from which a lead circuit section, which is integrally formed with a switch circuit section a flexible printed circuitry is led out. Three engagement holes are arranged in a longitudinal direction of the lead circuit section with predetermined intervals at both end portions of a widthwise direction thereof. The lead circuit section is folded such that all the respective three engagement holes are fitted with the respective bosses while providing surplus length portion in the form of S-shape, and then led out from the cut out portion. The upper casing having a pair of hold-down members are combined with the lower casing such that the hold-down members are engaged with the respective bosses to constitute a casing which serves as a switch unit.

The wires extend on the support means to the second connector. The second connector is movable relative to the air duct and easily mountable in the connector insertion opening for mating with the first connector. A collar is mounted to this inner cylindrical portion and is slidable in an axial direction and a rotating movement of the collar is restricted. A relative rotation of the rotating body and the fixed body is restricted by engaging this collar and the fixed body with each other. This engagement is released by pushing-in the collar at an inserting time of the steering shaft. Accordingly, a vehicle assembly working property of a steering module can be improved.

    Abstract: A switch unit includes a rubber contact attached to a wiring substrate, a guide plate having a pushing pin capable of being brought into contact with a contact dome of the rubber contact, and a cam plate for driving the pushing pin. The switch unit is provided in a lower case, and a slider, which has a sliding contact section in contact with the cam surface of the cam plate, is located on the cam plate so as to slide freely. The rotation of the operation lever supported on the lower case is converted into linear motion of the slider by a pin and slot, and the switch unit, slider, operation lever and an upper case are laminated so as to be mounteable in the lower case. As a result, automatic installation becomes possible, and operation can be performed by moving the operation lever only slightly.
