  • Publication number: 20230211428
Abstract: A tip saw has disk-shaped and comprises cutting blade pieces, support pieces, and a base metal. The cutting blade pieces are disposed at blade edges of the tip saw. The support pieces are disposed between adjoining two of the cutting blade pieces. The cutting blade pieces and the support pieces are configured to be thicker than a thickness D1 of the base metal of the tip saw (D2>D1). The support pieces have a thickness equal to or nearly equal to the thickness D2 of the cutting blade pieces (D3=D2 or D3?D2). Consequently, the width of a cut groove Pc formed on a work material by the cutting blade pieces can be maintained wider than the thickness D1 of the base metal of the tip saw by the support pieces without increasing the number of the cutting blade pieces of the tip saw.

  • Patent number: 8097262
Abstract: An enteral nutrient gel that is excellent at maintaining its solid matter (gel) form in the stomach, does not readily disintegrate or dissolve with a change in pH, is stable in its physical properties even during long-term storage, and can be passed through a feeding tube. The enteral nutrient gel contains agar, alginic acid and/or a salt thereof, soybean protein or a hydrolysate thereof, calcium, magnesium, dextrin, and, optionally, an oligosaccharide, a disaccharide and/or a monosaccharide. A solid composition containing 8 to 30 wt % protein, 2 to 25 wt % fats, and 40 to 70 wt % dextrin is used in preparing the enteral nutrient gel.

  • Publication number: 20100215804
Abstract: A food product that is suitable for an elderly person or a person who has difficulty in chewing or swallowing is obtained by impregnating a material with an enzyme, said food product having a smooth texture and sufficient softness to be crushed by the gums or tongue in the mouth, while maintaining the natural shape and color of the material. The food product has a compressive strength of 5×104 N/m2 or lower when measured at a compression rate of 10 mm/sec by using a plunger with a diameter of 3 mm and setting the clearance at 30% of the thickness of the specimen.

  • Publication number: 20100040739
Abstract: A gel type enteral nutrient, which is excellent in the form-maintaining capability of solid matter (gel) in the stomach, is not easily disintegrated or dissolved even depending upon a pH change, shows little change in the physical properties such as water liberation, or the like even during long-term stage, can be thermally sterilized and has a preferable property passing through a feeding tube, can be prepared by blending agar and alginic acid and/or its salt, and further soybean protein as a nitrogen source. It is expected to exert effects that neither gastro-esophageal reflux nor leakage of the nutrient occur when intaking the gel type enteral nutrient of the present invention.
