  • Patent number: 10648415
Abstract: An engine-driven working machine according to the present invention has a controller and a muffler. The controller is operated from starting of the engine in a rotational speed limitation mode in which the engine is prevented from rotating at a rotational speed that is higher than the predetermined limitation rotational speed. The controller forces to stop the engine, after a predetermined period has passed, during which the engine operates in the rotational speed limitation mode.

  • Patent number: 10400684
Abstract: To satisfy both a request for ensuring worker's safety at the engine start and a worker's request for promptly starting a work, on the premise of a working machine including an engine RPM suppression mode. A working machine (1) has a centrifugal clutch (6). The engine RPM suppression mode is executed at the start of an internal combustion engine (2). With the RPM suppression mode, the RPM of the internal combustion engine (2) is controlled not to exceed a clutch-in RPM. The working machine (1) has a mode cancelling means (S5) canceling the engine RPM suppression mode when a predetermined mode cancelation condition for cancelling the engine RPM suppression mode is satisfied, and a cancellation condition changing means (S2) changing the mode cancelation condition depending on a change in an engine operational state and/or an environment.

  • Patent number: 10022831
Abstract: A foreign-substance discharge mechanism includes: a lubricating-liquid groove provided on a sliding surface of a wedge member and configured to receive a lubricating liquid; and a foreign-substance collector provided to the lubricating-liquid groove and configured to collect foreign substances existing in the lubricating-liquid groove. A first end and a second end of the lubricating-liquid groove are spaced apart from each other in a relative movement direction of the wedge member and the table bed. Disadvantages caused by the presence of the foreign substances between the sliding surfaces can be easily avoided by reliably collecting the foreign substances existing between the sliding surfaces using the lubricating-liquid groove and the foreign-substance collector.

  • Patent number: 7930431
Abstract: A contents using method is provided that enables a user to watch and listen to freely same contents by a simple operation by either of an image display device or a server and enables the user to use the server for other applications without a need for paying attention to transfer of an image file from the server to an electronic device. The contents using method includes a first step of storing contents by the server at a date and at a time both being designated by the user, a second step of converting quality of contents by the server according to storage capacity or display capability of a storage section and a display section making up a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant), and a third step of transferring contents obtained after the quality conversion, after having confirmed connection between the server and the PDA, from the server to the PDA.

  • Patent number: 4854783
Abstract: A vertical hydro-hoist for conveying a slurry under pressure by using a liquid obtained from a chemical process as a driving liquid and method for operating the same, the hydro-hoist includes at least one feed chamber and a detector for detecting a relationship of specific gravities between a driving liquid, a slurry and a float desporent in the at least one feed chamber. A holding member is provided for holding the float and a device, provided for supplying or discharging a specific gravity adjusting liquid into and out of the float. After temporarily holding the float in the feed chamber, the adjusting liquid is supplied into or discharged out of the float in accordance with the relationship detected by the detector.

  • Patent number: 4773993
Abstract: An apparatus for producing pure water from raw water, comprises a reverse osmotic membrane unit, a polisher, an ultraviolet sterilizer, a high pressure pump for forcing raw water to flow through a reverse osmotic membrane in said reverse osmotic membrane unit to produce pure water permeated therethrough, and for feeding pure water to a use point, and a circulating line extending between said use point and a suction side of said high pressure pump for circulating pure water therebetween. With this construction, degradation of pure water due to stagnation is avoided.

  • Patent number: 4670137
Abstract: An impurity detector atomizes a liquid sample by injecting the sample into a chamber with a gas. In the chamber the liquid is heated, preferably by heating the gas prior to injection, to cause all the liquid to evaporate. The solid impurities contained in the liquid are thus entrained in the gas and carried to a detector region. The chamber is arranged so that all the gas and all the particles arrive at the detector region. A particle detector measures the number and size of the particles and from that measurement, the concentration of impurities in the sample can be determined. The system permits on-line operation, and produces accurate results.
