  • Patent number: 5146407
Abstract: A vehicle stop detecting apparatus including a detecting device for detecting a parking brake inoperative condition in a vehicle, and a signal generating device for generating a vehicle stop signal when a parking brake operative condition is generated after detection of the parking brake inoperative condition by the detecting device. Accordingly, in the case where a wiring is not properly connected, causing that the parking brake lever is in a position corresponding to the parking brake inoperative condition, the generation of the vehicle stop signal can be prevented. Further, a vehicle stop condition can be reliably determined with a simple construction.

  • Patent number: 5132987
Abstract: The invention relates to a bidirectional communication line buffer apparatus in which the communication direction of data of a bidirectional data line and the length of the data are judged. A bidirectional buffer circuit receives the results of such judgement and is made non-conductive on the basis of a data termination indication obtained from the received judgement after data is conducted in the communication direction based on the received judgement. Accordingly, the communication data waveform shaping and the driving capability are improved.

  • Patent number: 4766580
Abstract: An information reproducing system, such as an audio tape player, for automotive use, whereby errors which would otherwise occur when the engine is started are inhibited. The information reproducing system of the invention includes a voltage detector circuit for detecting the voltage of the automobile's battery, an operating unit for operating the recording medium in response to the supply of power from the battery so as to reproduce information stored on the recording medium, and a control unit for controlling the operating unit. In this system, the application of an operation command input to the control unit is inhibited when the voltage detector circuit detects a drop in the voltage of the battery at the time the engine is started. In addition, the inhibition of the operation command input is cancelled when the restoration of the voltage of the battery is detected.

  • Patent number: 4614880
Abstract: A power supply circuitry for a microcomputer system made up of a control unit including a microprocessor and a peripheral circuit, is provided with a delay switch circuit (55) for controlling the operation of the second regulator means (41) which provides a power current to the peripheral circuit of the microcomputer system. The delay switch circuit is responsive to a reset signal produced by a reset signal generating means connected to a first regulator means (34) for the control unit, and generates a signal for activating the second regulator means shortly after the extinction of the reset signal so that the operation of the peripheral circuit is prevented during a period of a reset operation of the microprocessor.

  • Patent number: 4607300
Abstract: An auto-reverse tape deck is provided with an automatic stop feature such that, regardless of the initial tape position, playback is halted substantially at the starting position after one complete reciprocation of the tape. If playback begins in the midst of a music interval, the device may play to the end of this interval after one complete reciprocation before being stopped.

  • Patent number: 4419767
Abstract: In a voltage synthesizer type receiver in which the tuning frequency is varied in first and second directions and in which a tuning frequency is automatically obtained in response to detuning detection signals produced from a window comparator, a hysteresis characteristic of the window comparator is compensated for by using a second up/down counter to control the tuning frequency variation in the second direction so that it terminates half way between the trailing edge of a first detection signal and the leading edge of a second detection signal so that exact tuning is accomplished.

  • Patent number: 4406018
Abstract: In an automatic FM tuner of a voltage synthesizer in which an output from a voltage control oscillator is varied in response to a tuning clock pulse to scan or search a broadcasting frequency wherein when a comparator having an input of the output voltage with S-shaped wave form of FM detector circuit detects that the received broadcasting signal are set in a range of receiving signal with the normal tuning point being set therebetween, a period of the tuning clock pulse is increased, the tuning clock pulses with their periods increased are counted over a range of the received signal, a feeding of the tuning clock pulse is terminated at 1/2 of the counted value, and thereby a variation of the oscillation frequency of the voltage control oscillator is terminated to show a desired tuning frequency.
