  • Publication number: 20080305817
Abstract: A radio communication system includes one master station which performs transmission without being controlled by another radio station and which is configured to independently set a channel for use in a radio communication, and at least one slave station which belongs to the one master station and whose radio communication channel used and transmission/reception operations are controlled by the master station. When detecting an interference signal which disturbs the radio communication during operation, the one master station or the at least one slave station sets a first modulation scheme applied to the radio communication to the same second modulation scheme as a modulation scheme used in broadcast in order to convey information necessary for an evasive action to move to another radio communication channel.

  • Patent number: 7266108
Abstract: A diversity receiving apparatus for use in an OFDM transmission radio communication/broadcasting system where OFDM signals are received by a plurality of antennas and input into a plurality of receivers. The OFDM received signals are further transformed into frequency spectra. Channel frequency responses are calculated by using OFDM received signal frequency spectra and a reference frequency spectrum generated in a reference spectrum generator. OFDM received signal frequency spectra distortions are compensated by using corresponding channel frequency responses. The transformed OFDM received signal frequency spectra are input into a selector unit as first input signals, while the distortion-compensated OFDM received signal frequency spectra are input into the selector unit as second input signals. The selector unit then selects a second input signal corresponding to a first input signal having maximum amplitude or maximum power.

  • Patent number: 7180934
Abstract: A library is referred to and thus facilities are executed when executing an application program for receiving and transmitting radio signals. That is, the library serving as programs depending on hardware converts commands based on the application program into signal to control the hardware. As a result, the application program is describable by a program independent of an analog device for receiving and transmitting the radio signal, and a common application program can be used even in case of different hardware.

  • Publication number: 20030182309
Abstract: A communication priority is set for each information providing site connected to the Internet. A database in which the degrees of communication priority for the individual sites are organized in table form is provided in a network. When an user makes a request for connection to any site, the database is searched for the communication priority for the site. Then, according to the retrieved degree of connection site, the connection state of the communication channel between the user and the information providing site is controlled.

Abstract: In a diversity receiving apparatus for use in an OFDM transmission radio communication/broadcasting system, OFDM signals are received by a plurality of antennas and are input into a plurality of receivers. The OFDM received signals are further input into a plurality of transformers and are transformed into frequency spectra. • Patent number: 6512738
Abstract: Correspondingly to transmission channel frequency responses calculated at each of a plurality of receiving parts respectively, frequency spectrum signals, which are obtained by transforming frequency of received orthogonal frequency division multiplexing signals, are given weighting, and frequency spectrum signals for each are combined. With these steps, not only estimation of distortion in the amplitude direction and in the phase direction becomes more accurate, but also reproduction of frequency spectrum signals and digital signal sequence becomes more precise so as to realize combined diversity reception.
