  • Patent number: 5126768
Abstract: A process for producing a liquid jet recording head comprises the step of laminating a solid layer for formation of a liquid channel, a photosensitive material to be provided so as to cover over the solid layer, a discharge opening plate provided with a discharge opening communicated to the liquid channel in this order on a substrate; the step of irradiating an active energy ray in a pattern on the photosensitive material layer; and the step of removing the solid layer and the uncured portion of said photosensitive material layer corresponding to the pattern to form the liquid channel.

  • Patent number: 5006867
Abstract: A recording head for an ink jet recording apparatus having a common chamber for supplying ink to a plurality of ink discharge portions each having an electric-heat converting member. A plurality of temperature detecting elements in the head measure the temperature at different locations in the chamber and an adjuster equalizes the temperature distribution of the chamber based on temperature information from the temperature detecting devices.

  • Patent number: 4908636
Abstract: A liquid jet recording apparatus includes a cap member for covering discharge ports of a liquid jet recording head which discharge recording liquid. The cap member is provided with a protruding portion opposed to the discharge ports. Gas flow is generated in a space formed by the cap member and the liquid jet recording head. The protruding portion provides for a negative or reduced pressure at the discharge ports, to draw off impurities and improve recovery. An improved recovery method is also provided.
