  • Publication number: 20080068156
Abstract: In order to realize the joining with the legitimate devices for joining with a limited number of operations for terminal devices for which small dimension and low power consumption are required, in the radio communication system according to the present invention, a ReJoin Command for instructing the sensor node to join with other PANs is provided, and by the use of this command, it is possible to change the joining of the sensor node joined with an unintended PAN to another intended PAN. In addition, for joining with the PAN to which it is joined is disjoined, repeated attempts are to be made to join with the PAN.

  • Publication number: 20080031139
Abstract: An overload on a communication path in a sensor network system is prevented while transferring information from a sensor node as close to real time as possible. When the transfer rate of events transferred from a boundary node (DR) toward a gateway (GW) exceeds a limit transfer rate (VL), one of nodes on the sensor node (S) side whose transmission rate meets a preset condition is identified as an excess transmission rate node. The excess transmission rate node, or a node that is not the excess transmission rate node and whose transmission rate should be reduced, is chosen as a deceleration node. A node that reduces the transmission rate of events from the deceleration node, or the transfer rate of the events, is chosen as a deceleration processing executing node. The deceleration processing executing node is instructed to execute preset processing.

  • Publication number: 20070298711
Abstract: A high-sound-quality speech function is implemented in a small-sized wireless terminal including inexpensive low-grade resources such as an inexpensive microprocessor and an inexpensive memory. From data inputted to the terminal, a reproduction data sequence and identifying information defining reproduction timing to reproduce the reproduction data sequence are extracted. According to the identifying information, timing to output the reproduction data sequence to a Digital-to-analog (DA) converter is controlled. A sampling data sequence obtained by converting data inputted to the terminal from analog data to digital data is stored in a register. Depending on a difference between values of the sampling data, whether or not the sampling data is discarded is determined. A sequence of sampling data which is not discarded and which is stored in the register is recorded. Identifying information defining reproduction timing to reproduce the sampling data sequence and reproduction data are created to be outputted.

  • Publication number: 20070299956
Abstract: Provided is a method for transferring data of a sensor network system in which communication is made with multiple sensor nodes SN1s connected via a wireless network to transmit sensing data measured by the sensor nodes SN1s to a server SNS connected via a wired network. The method includes: receiving the sensing data from each of the sensor nodes SN1s (S1); adding meaning information that corresponds to a measurement value contained in the sensing data to the sensing data (S2, S5); and transmitting the sensing data to which the meaning information is added to the server SNS (S6). Accordingly, data of the sensor nodes are efficiently used by multiple applications while effectively using a reduced resource for wireless communication.

  • Publication number: 20060039316
Abstract: In a wireless communication system, a utilization of a global ID having a long bit length, which is useful for linking with an external system, is compatible with a reduction of a communication amount of a wireless terminal. The wireless terminal transmits the global ID only when the wireless terminal is initially registered, and after a local ID having a short bit length is allocated by a server to the wireless terminal, this wireless terminal uses one the local ID. While the server manages a corresponding relationship between the global ID and the local ID, the server uses the global ID in order to identify the wireless terminal in a communication made outside the system.

  • Publication number: 20030182434
Abstract: Disclosed is a network system that can distribute connection requests from PPPoE client terminals to specific PPPoE servers under the initiative of the PPPoE servers. In the system that realizes connection between at least one client terminal and plural servers at least by a connection start signal from the client terminal, a connection provision signal from the servers, corresponding to the connection start signal, and a connection request signal from the client terminal, corresponding to the connection provision signal; the servers have an identification information setting means, upon receiving a connection start signal from the client terminal, for setting server identification information for identifying a specific server to receive a connection request signal corresponding to the connection start signal in the connection provision signal.
