  • Patent number: 11609537
Abstract: A cell area extraction unit (241) extracts a cell area in a phase image that is created based on a hologram obtained by in-line holographic microscope (IHM). A background value acquisition unit (242) obtains a background value from phase values at a plurality of positions outside the cell area. An intracellular phase value acquisition unit (243) averages a plurality of phase values on a sampling line set at a position close to the periphery of a cell, while avoiding a central portion in which the phase value may be lowered in the cell area, to obtain an intracellular phase value. A phase change amount calculation unit (244) obtains the difference between the intracellular phase value and the background value. A phase change amount determination unit (245) compares the value of the difference with thresholds in two levels to determine whether the cell is in an undifferentiated state or an undifferentiation deviant state.

  • Patent number: 11345369
Abstract: A method includes the step of receiving traffic signal display information from a traffic control unit controlling a display of a traffic signal located near an intersection when a vehicle is driving toward the intersection. The traffic signal display information includes a current display state of the traffic signal and information indicating a remaining time for which the current display state of the traffic signal will continues. The method further includes the step of acquiring traffic signal recognition information when the vehicle is driving toward the intersection. The traffic signal recognition information is recognized by a traffic signal detector mounted on the vehicle and indicating a current display of the traffic signal. The method further includes the step of controlling driving of the vehicle when the vehicle enters the intersection based on the traffic signal display information and the traffic signal recognition information.

  • Publication number: 20210277361
Abstract: The present invention has been made in view of a problem regarding stability, reproducibility, economy, and easiness of operation in studies for a monocyte- or dendritic cell-mediated infectious microorganism, and is directed to provide a method for maintenance culturing a monocyte- or dendritic cell-mediated infectious microorganism utilizing a monocyte having a proliferative capacity. The present invention is based on the finding that a dengue virus efficiently infects a proliferable human monocytic cell obtained by introducing a gene into a CD14-positive cell and a cell having a phagocytic capacity obtained by inducing the monocytic cell to differentiate (e.g., dendritic cell) and proliferates therein. Thus, provided is a novel method for evaluating a pharmaceutical such as a compound or a vaccine for treating an infection with a monocyte- or dendritic cell-mediated infectious microorganism.
