  • Patent number: 8157811
Abstract: There is disclosed a treatment device for an endoscope, comprising a treatment portion in which an operation wire is forward/backward moveably inserted into a main tube of an elongated flexible tube to be inserted into a body, a tip end of the operation wire forms a loop for treatment by itself in a projection state from the main tube, and the loop is adapted to be retractable and storable in the main tube, wherein the treatment portion is formed with a wire rope obtained by integrally intertwining a plurality of side strand wires with a core strand wire, and spiral convex or concave portions continuously disposed along the outer periphery of the wire rope are formed with the side strand wires.

  • Publication number: 20040173425
Abstract: A collapsible upright wall extends the height of the sides on the load hauling box on a truck. The collapsible upright wall comprises a fabric which when vertically stretched provides adequate resistance to substantial lateral load. A method of increasing the volumetric capacity of the box on a truck comprises the steps of: a) providing a rectangular frame above, and dimensioned to seat adjacent to an open top side portion of the load hauling box on the truck; b) providing a substantial lift mechanism to uniformly lift the rectangular frame above the box; and, c) providing and attaching an elongate strip of fabric having a top elongate side portion peripherally attached to the rectangular frame, and a bottom elongate side portion peripherally attached to the open top side portion of the box. Then when the rectangular frame is lifted to an upper operable position the fabric is stretched taut and is thereby able to sustain significant lateral load.

  • Patent number: 5766184
Abstract: An endoscopic treatment tool according to the present invention is led into the body through the endoscope channel. A treatment section (2) is operated by transmitting the operating power of an operating section (4) on the operator's side to the treatment section (2) at the forward end thereof. The endoscopic treatment tool is characterized in that a tubular sheath (28) is adapted to be inserted into the endoscope channel, rotative operation means (55) is arranged in the operating section (4) for rotatively operating the treatment section (2), and an operating wire (33) is rotatably inserted into the sheath (28) and has a torque transmissivity for coupling the treatment section (2) and the rotative operation means (55) and capable of transmitting the rotation torque from the rotative operation means (55) to the treatment section (2).

  • Patent number: 4865017
Abstract: An endoscopic operation instrument according to the present invention comprises an operating portion formed by a plurality of elastic wires or a folded-back elastic wire received in the distal end of a flexible sheath, the elastic wires or the folded-back elastic wire being bent in the intermediate portion, wherein the bent portions of the elastic wires are located at different positions. Thus, the handling of the instrument is facilitated when the operating portion is pulled in and pushed out.

  • Patent number: 4722340
Abstract: A stone disintegrator apparatus has a probe with discharge electrodes and a power supply circuit for supplying a discharge voltage to the probe for causing discharge between the discharge electrodes. An electrode life detection circuit detects the number of use or discharge operations of the probe so as to determine the remaining life of the discharge electrodes. A discharge inhibit circuit inhibits re-use or discharge of the probe when the life detection circuit detects an end of electrode life.
