  • Publication number: 20030152381
Abstract: The present invention relates to a barrier member slidably movable along the surface of a camera to a closing position for covering a lens barrel of a camera body and to an opening position for letting the lens barrel be exposed. The camera includes a pressing member for pressing the barrier member from the side of the camera body, and regulating the slide movement of the barrier member in the closing and opening positions. In the camera of the present invention, the barrier member is provided with a guide member abutting on the pressing member at a plurality of points with the center of the pressing member being interposed therebetween in a direction along the surface of the camera and in a direction orthogonal to a slide moving direction of the barrier member, thereby eliminating a backlash of the barrier member.

  • Patent number: 6527106
Abstract: A roller adapted to be rotatably mounted on a bushing of each link assembly of a chain comprises a split roller composed of two roller segments assembled together. The split roller can be easily mounted on the bushing from a radial direction of the bushing even though the bushing is integrally formed with links to form a single link assembly. The link assembly has a one-piece structure and hence is improved in strength and rigidity. The bushing of the link assembly is free from damage or break even when the chain is subjected to a great tensile force.

  • Patent number: 4668963
Abstract: A pen recorder for writing characters and graphic patterns with recording pens on a sheet of recording paper by moving the recording pens in an X-axis direction and moving the sheet of recording paper in a Y-axis direction. When a desired key on a keyboard is depressed, the recording pens and the sheet of recording paper are moved to write a character corresponding to the depressed key on the sheet of recording paper. The size of the character can relatively freely be selected by operation switches for selecting horizontal and vertical character sizes. The pen recorder is automatically controlled for the same operability when the character size is changed in any of horizontal and vertical directions. Where the character size is changed horizontally, an alarm is issued prior to the completion of recording in a recording position a prescribed number of characters prior to a preset right margin.

  • Patent number: 4561031
Abstract: Disclosed is an automatic cassette loading apparatus which comprises a motor and a first sensing means for detecting when a cassette is placed in a first position to energize the motor. A counter is provided for counting clock pulses in response to the energization of the motor and generating an output signal when the counted clock pulses reach a predetermined value. A second sensing means is provided for detecting when the cassette is moved to a second, tape-operating position. The loading apparatus further includes a mechanism driven by the motor for moving the cassette from the first position to the second position and restoring the cassette to the first position and beyond to de-energize the motor when the output signal of the counter is generated prior to the detection of the cassette in the second position.
