  • Patent number: 5606397
Abstract: A developing unit having a pair of semicircular first sealing members longitudinally formed on a cylindrical portion of both ends of a toner conveying roller along an outer peripheral surface of a toner conveying roller such that a gap is set between the sealing members and a toner layer thickness determining plate in a frictional state. A pair of second sealing members are provided close to a position where the toner layer thickness determining plate faces the roller and at a position, opposite to a side facing the toner conveying roller. Each of the first and second sealing members applies predetermined pressure to the toner conveying roller, and each of the sealing members includes lubricating fine grains.

  • Patent number: 5424817
Abstract: A device for developing a latent image on an image bearing member includes a developing roller, rotatably mounted facing the image bearing member, for transferring a developing agent to the image bearing member, and a supply roller, rotatably mounted adjacent to the developing roller, for supplying the developing agent to the developing roller at a supplying portion. The developing agent is stored in the storing member and is provided to the supply roller upstream of the supplying portion with respect to a rotating direction of the supply roller. A disordering member, mounted downstream of the supplying portion with respect to the rotating direction of the supply roller, disorders the developing agent on the surface of the supply roller to prevent the developing agent from causing hardening of the supply roller.

  • Patent number: 4084662
Abstract: A control apparatus for an elevator system in which a rotation speed of a drive motor for driving said elevator system is controlled by supplying a deviation signal obtained by comparing a speed signal of said drive motor including an induction motor with a driving pattern setting signal; said control apparatus comprising a speed control circuit which includes a control amplifier, and is characterized in that a time constant value of the control amplifier is set to different values in constant running operation and in retardation control of the elevator. Additionally, said control apparatus is characterized that the time constant value in retardation control is set so as to make low a transient gain of said control amplifier, and further that a preselected bias is supperimposed to a time constant circuit of said control amplifier at an alternating point from a constant speed running to a slowing down of the elevator, in order to prevent the decrement of the transient gain.
