Abstract: An Internet facsimile apparatus is provided such that, even when an electronic mail includes plural data files that cannot be processed by the apparatus, prints the electronic mail normally. The apparatus includes a mail analyzer that determines whether a received electronic mail includes data that cannot be printed by a printer. When the electronic mail includes such unprintable data, the unprintable data is transmitted to a conversion server. The apparatus receives back printable data converted from the unprintable data from the conversion server and prints the printable data. The apparatus stores an indication that a plurality of printable data converted from a plurality of unprintable data has been received back from the conversion server. A message ID processor checks the indication, and the printer is informed regarding an object to be printed in accordance with the result of checking by the message ID processor.

Abstract: A communications method, communications system, communications device, and server which confirm performance information of a receiver communications device without negotiating with the receiver communications device before sending data, and sends an image most suited to receiving capability of the receiver communications device. The sender reads out performance information of the receiver communications device stored typically in a server before sending data, and sends data after converting the format of data to be sent based on the performance information. The communications device communicates with the server and sends data in the form of electronic mail and TCP/IP communications. Since, image data is sent after converting its format to that best matched receiving capability of the receiver communications device, the receiver communications device can receive image data best suited to its performance.

Abstract: An e-mail apparatus comprises a memory to which a character string showing a domain name is stored; a display for dividing an e-mail address into a plurality of segments including a segment of the domain name so as to be displayed and for displaying the character string of the domain name stored in the memory at the segment of the domain name; a button for changing the domain name displayed on the display to other domain name stored in the memory; a dividing section, which configures to divide the character string of the e-mail as a sender included in the received e-mail into a plurality of segments; and a storing section, which configures to store the character string, corresponding to the segment of at least the domain name in the divided character, to the memory.

Abstract: A draining device used in a car muffler includes a muffler body separated into three compartments A, B and C with water passing holes disposed to their bottoms, an inlet pipe communicated to the compartment B, two intermediary pipes used to communicate the exhaust gas between the compartments B and C, and C and A, an outlet pipe communicating with the compartment A which is disposed at the front side of the muffler, and a water drain path having inlet port opened to the bottom of the front side compartment A and outlet port opened to the surrounding portion of the outlet pipe.
