Abstract: Provided is a wastewater treatment method including measuring a chemical oxygen demand (COD) of wastewater containing organic matter in real time, calculating the amount of ozone associated with a concentration of the organic matter using the measured COD value, and controlling a production of ozone of an ozone generator based on the calculated amount of ozone. The present invention provides a wastewater treatment method and system for adjusting the production of ozone used as an oxidizing agent for decomposing organic matter in wastewater in association with a load of organic matter in wastewater to be oxidized.

Abstract: In one example, an electronic device includes a substrate, an electronic component disposed over the substrate, and an encapsulant disposed over the substrate and the electronic component. A molded heat spreader can be disposed over the encapsulant and can comprise a heat spreader and a mold compound disposed around a lateral side of the heat spreader. A lateral side of the mold compound is coplanar with a lateral side of the encapsulant. Other examples and related methods are also disclosed herein.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for controlling a velocity of a cooling fan using a timer and a temperature sensor in a set-top box (STB) are provided. An apparatus for controlling a velocity of a cooling fan in an STB may include a temperature sensor unit to change a resistor to be in inverse proportion to an internal temperature, using a thermistor, a timer unit to generate a pulse signal using a capacitor and the resistor of the temperature sensor unit, a switching unit to turn on/off applied voltage, using the generated pulse signal, and a power source unit to apply the voltage to the switching unit.
