The method includes storing user identity information on the decentralized identity management system. The method includes enabling one or more other users to store reputation information associated with the user identity. The method also includes using the reputation information in a transaction with the user.

Abstract: A property damage assessment system may include a drone including imaging equipment and a controller, which may include a device processor and a non-transitory computer readable medium including instructions to perform the following steps: receiving imagery data, from a first vantage point, of property from the imaging equipment of the drone; making a determination, by analyzing the received imagery data, that there is damage to the property; and based on the determination that there is damage to the property, automatically controlling the drone to obtain additional imagery data of the property, wherein automatically controlling the drone to obtain additional imagery data includes repositioning the drone to obtain a different view of a portion of the property by moving the drone to a second vantage point located a different distance from the property or a second vantage point located at a different angle with respect to the property.

The method includes verifying the identity of the user who signed authentication challenge. The method includes raising an event that indicates that the user has been authenticated; wherein a server listens for events from the smart contract, and associates a session between the browser and the server with the user based on the event.

Abstract: Techniques are described for managing a network through use of a security device that includes, or has access to, a blockchain node. The security device may manage a network of Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices in a home or other environment. The security device may act as an intermediary to manage secure, trusted communications between the IoT device(s) and external service(s). The security device may also provide network security features such as a network firewall. In some implementations, the security device may run a blockchain node, and the blockchain could be used to establish a verifiable home identity. The security device may interact with external resources and/or services, such as utility services, e-commerce services, and so forth, through this secure mechanism.

Abstract: Methods and systems for multiple channel authentication are described. In one embodiment, a request for an interaction is initiated from within a mobile application. The request may include authentication information and contextual information relating to a current exchange between the mobile application and an organization. The user may be authenticated with the authentication information and the request may be routed to a representative based on the contextual information to continue the exchange.
