Abstract: In one implementation, we propose an unsupervised point cloud primitive learning method based on the principle of analysis by synthesis. In one example, the method uses a partitioning network and a point cloud autoencoder. The partitioning network partitions an input point cloud into a list of chunks. For each chunk, an encoder network of the autoencoder performs analysis to output a codeword in a feature space, and a decoder network performs synthesis to reconstruct the point cloud chunk. The reconstructed chunks are merged to output a fully reconstructed point cloud frame. By end-to-end training to minimize the mismatch between the original point cloud and the reconstructed point cloud, the autoencoder discovers primitive shapes in the point cloud data. During the network training, the parameters of the partitioning network and the autoencoder are updated. The trained modules can be applied to different applications, including segmentation, detection, and compression.

Abstract: A localization method includes scanning a surrounding space by using laser outputted from a reference region; processing spatial information about the surrounding space based on a reflection signal of the laser; extracting feature vectors to which the spatial information has been reflected by using a deep learning network which uses space vectors including the spatial information as input data; and comparing the feature vectors with preset reference map data, and thus estimating location information about the reference region.

Abstract: A mobile communication terminal for displaying supplementary information on a background screen includes a communication unit, a storage unit for storing cumulative transmissions and receptions of calls and messages corresponding to supplementary information, a cumulative number rank determiner for comparing the cumulative transmissions and receptions of calls and messages and determining a cumulative number rank for the phone number, a controller for creating a map consisting of the supplementary information arranged from the highest to the lowest cumulative number rank of the phone number, and a display unit for displaying the supplementary information together with the cumulative number rank. The terminal allows a user to easily visualize supplementary information corresponding to a phone number by display on the background screen.

The integration search device of a mobile communication terminal includes an input unit having a plurality of keys to which characters and numerals are allocated; a storage unit for storing character and numeral mapping information corresponding to the keys, basic information, and edition information; a search unit for searching for a character and numeral allocated to an input key in response to an input of one of the keys and searching for previously stored basic information and edition information corresponding to a found character and numeral; a controller for sorting a search result; and a display unit for displaying the sorted search result in a list format.
