Abstract: A method of opening an account includes: transmitting, to a client device associated with the customer, a link that deactivates after a predefined amount of time; establishing a connection with the client device via a communication network for a simultaneous browsing experience based on receiving a selection of the link withing the predefined amount of time; transmitting, to the client device during the simultaneous browsing experience, first information for display via a graphical user interface (GUI); receiving, from the branch store computer during the simultaneous browsing experience, customer information relating to opening of the account during the display of the first information via the GUI on the client device; and, opening the account based on the customer information and the customer input received from the client device during the simultaneous browsing experience.

Abstract: A method of activating a bank account comprises establishing, by the bank computer system upon receipt of a selection of the selectable link, a connection with a client device. The connection is established while the client device is located within a bank store location. The method further comprises transmitting first information for display on the client device via a graphical user interface (GUI), receiving customer information relating to activation of the bank account from the bank store computer, transmitting second information for display via the GUI where the second information is displayed subsequent to the first information and is configured to be displayed with an interactive slider component, receiving a customer input via the interactive slider component, and opening an account based on the customer information received from the bank store computer and the customer inputs received from the client device.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method of facilitating payments from a device includes binding the device with a device payment account. Binding includes establishing operative communication between a hub of a local network and the device, transmitting a device identifier to the device, and creating a device profile for the device. The device profile includes spending controls and a duplicate device identifier. A payment request is received from the device. The payment request includes a payment request indicator and the device identifier. The device is authenticated if the device identifier received with the payment request matches the duplicate device identifier. Upon authenticating the device, payment parameters are determined based on the payment request. It is verified that the payment parameters do not violate the spending controls. Upon verifying that the payment parameters do not violate the spending controls, a payment is transmitted to a recipient based on the payment parameters.

Abstract: A method for providing enhanced transaction detail for a financial transaction includes receiving transaction information for the financial transaction performed using a financial account held by an account holder, generating a transaction record for the financial transaction based on the transaction information, accessing a secondary account of the account holder, including identifying supplemental information for the financial transaction based on the transaction information, associating the supplemental information with the generated transaction record, and providing the transaction record, including the supplemental information, to the account holder.
