  • Patent number: 11591043
Abstract: A cogset with a plurality of sprockets has a subset of the sprockets connected together in a monolithic subset that is mounted directly in engagement with a coupling profile on the radially peripheral surface of a sprocket in the monolithic subset. The direct shape coupling between the sprocket of the monolithic subset and the sprocket-carrying body makes it possible to have very high solidity and rigidity of coupling to ensure the maximum precision of actuation of the gearshift that uses the sub-assembly.

  • Patent number: 11592097
Abstract: A bicycle rear wheel sub-assembly having a sprocket-carrying body, a cogset including a plurality of axially adjacent sprockets with at least three of the plurality of sprockets formed into a monolithic set and a ring nut securing the cogset to the sprocket-carrying body. The ring nut is formed as two parts assembled together—an axially outer first part on which a tubular body and a flange are formed, and an axially inner second part on which a threaded portion is formed. This structure provides a simple and effective coupling of the ring nut with the monolithic sub-set of the cogset and the sprocket-carrying body.

  • Patent number: 11548318
Abstract: A bicycle rear wheel adapter has an annular body that abuts a sprocket-carrying body that extends in an axially outer direction and receives sprockets in radially peripheral positions. A coupling element on the annular body couples with the sprocket-carrying body so the adapter rotates as a unit with the sprocket-carrying body, and a sprocket-receiving seat on the annular body couples with a sprocket so the adapter rotates as a unit with the sprocket. The adapter is suitable for cogsets with small sprockets grouped in a monolithic grouping.

  • Patent number: 11401005
Abstract: A cogset having a plurality of axially adjacent sprockets between a first sprocket with a minimum primitive circumference and a last sprocket with a maximum primitive circumference and the primitive circumferences are expressed as an integer dimensionless value equal to the ratio between the primitive circumference itself and a fixed length equal to a chain pitch. The difference in value between the primitive circumference of the sprocket next to a predetermined sprocket and the primitive circumference of the predetermined sprocket is defined as the jump associated with the predetermined sprocket. A first sprocket subset comprises the first sprocket and at least the next three sprockets and a second sprocket subset comprises at least three adjacent sprockets that do not include the first sprocket. The jump associated with all of the sprockets of the first subset is equal to 1, whereas the jump associated with the sprockets of the second subset increases by 1 from one sprocket to the next.

  • Publication number: 20210031875
Abstract: This sub-assembly for a bicycle rear wheel, formed by a sprocket-carrying body (14) and a cogset (20) mounted coaxially on the sprocket-carrying body (14) through shape engagement, is sized so as to respect the condition: K=P1*P2 wherein P1=Ls/Lp and P2=Lc/(Sint+Sest). In this way, a good compromise is obtained between the ability to house a relatively large number of sprockets and the structural solidity of the sub-assembly.

  • Patent number: 10371234
Abstract: A bicycle chain having an alternate succession of outer links and inner links connected to each other at respective end portions thereof. Each outer link and inner link comprises two respective plates arranged parallel to and spaced apart from one another to define a housing space for a tooth of a sprocket or toothed wheel.
