  • Patent number: 7883489
Abstract: The invention concerns a device (1) for irrigating and pressurizing a body cavity (2). Said device comprises a circuit consisting of at least one source (3), wherefrom flows a fluid under pressure, connected to a supply conduit (3) emerging in its downstream end into the cavity (2), a discharge conduit (20) for said fluid exiting from said cavity (2) and means for regulating (30) said fluid. Said regulating means (30) include first pumping means (31) capable of being temporarily engaged with the supply conduit (10), second pumping means (32) engaged with the discharge conduit (20). The two pumping means (31, 32) are operated at the same speed and in the same direction when they are engaged with their respective conduits (10, 20).

  • Patent number: 5776104
Abstract: A apparatus composed of a flexible bag containing a biological fluid in an enclosure sealed by a cover. The flexible bag is connected to a cavity in the human body through a tube that passes through a cover in the enclosure. In order to supply the biological fluid under an adjustable pressure to the cavity, the enclosure is connected to a source of pressurized air by means of an adjustable valve and a pressure regulator so that the pressure of the liquid in the cavity remains constant.

  • Patent number: 5411517
Abstract: A cannula comprising a tubular element with two longitudinal slots lying in a diametral plane and defining two blades joined at the ends thereof by a block of material. A plunger with a tapering tip is linked to a contol rod and a grip and extends through a passage and into a channel in the tubular element, which channel ends behind the free ends of the blades. When the plunger is driven towards the free end of the tubular element, its conical portion reached the end of the channel and pushes the blades apart laterally so that the block of material breaks and allows said blades to spread apart.
