Abstract: A window unit having a glazing panel, and a frame which has a frame profile and encompasses the glazing panel's edge on at least one peripheral side and grips or encompasses the glazing panel on at least two peripheral sides in the form of a ring. The frame has a primary part, in the form of a hard component, that forms a single component with at least one clip-like assembly that has a first member and a second member. The at least one clip-like assembly is designed to plug and maintain a trim element's rigid lug between the first and second members. The first member is flexible substantially perpendicular to the plugged trim element's axis of penetration and oriented at angle, A1, between 20° and 60° from the plugged rigid lug's axis of penetration.
