In addition, the antioxidant activity inherent to structured water is enhanced by the presence of the antioxidant within its cluster structure. The present invention also includes methods of removing or reducing free radicals on the skin and thereby preventing the signs of skin aging and the risks of cancer associated with the presence of free radicals in the skin.

In a preferred embodiment the electrochemical cell and the peptide are contained in a dermal patch.
