Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning golf clubs is provided. The apparatus includes a substantially symmetrical body having a first pocket opposite a second pocket for accepting fingers or a thumb of a user. The first and second pockets are flexibly coupled by a hinge portion and define a first opening for receiving a head of a golf club. A second opening is defined by the opening ends of the first and second pockets and is configured for receiving a hand of the user. The first and second pocket have opposing exterior walls which can be brought into contact with a golf club head to clean same. At least one of the opposing exterior walls will include an abrasive surface, e.g., bristles, for cleaning a surface of the golf club head. In other embodiments, both opposing exterior walls will include abrasive surfaces to facilitate cleaning of the golf club head.

Abstract: A bezel display for a currency acceptor that displays a pixelated image of the last bill accepted by the validator to show the player what was inserted. When not displaying the last bill accepted, the display can be used as an aesthetic addition, and when a fault occurs in the acceptor, it can display in multiple languages what is causing the fault, as well as display images showing where the fault has occurred.

Abstract: Individual sheets of paper currency or bills are conveyed in line in a path from a receiving inlet slot through a verification station and outputting verified currency through a storage slot. The verification station senses the value and authenticity of the currency and converts the value into a signal and thereafter moves the paper currency to the storage station where they are securely stacked one on top of the other.

Various data is required by management to maximize the operation and the profit potential of a given machine is compiled in the machine itself. The compiled data is serially transferred to a memory device via a one-wire protocol. The memory device writes the data according a defined software routine. The contents of the memory device can be transferred to a computer for subsequent manipulation and display.

Abstract: A series of sensors are placed transversely to the line of movement of the bill so that the leading edge passes over the sensors substantially simultaneously. If the bill is misaligned and the sensors are blocked within a predetermined period, the bill will be rejected.
