  • Publication number: 20240072542
Abstract: System and method for distributing electric power from a multi-phasic power source to electronic devices, the electric power being carried by a plurality of phases. The method comprises distributing, via a plurality of multi-way switching devices, electric power from the power source to a plurality of electronic devices, each multi-way switching device corresponding to a given electronic device and being configured to distribute a present phase thereto, accessing information about power consumption of the electronic devices, determining, based on said information, a present degree of electrical imbalance of the power source, and in response to the present degree of electrical imbalance being greater than a threshold, executing a load balancing routine including determining an adjusted phase to be distributed to at least one of the electronic devices and causing the at least one multi-way switching device to switch to an adjusted switching state.

  • Patent number: 11431761
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for connecting to network services on a private network. A gateway device may coordinate communications between a client device on a public network and a host device on a private network. The client device may request to access the host device via the gateway device. The gateway device may authenticate the client device. The gateway device may transcode communications between the client device and the host device, thereby masking the address of the client device and the host device. The gateway device may maintain two different encryption methods between the client device and the gateway device, and the gateway device and the host device.

  • Patent number: 11281267
Abstract: Methods and systems identify connection paths between a power source and a plurality of loads. A reachability signal is sent on a cable connecting a power output of the power source to a power distribution unit (PDU). The PDU receives the reachability and forwards a modified reachability signal on one or more power outputs of the PDU to one or more loads. The PDU receives a return reachability signal from the one or more loads and forwards corresponding modified return reachability signals on the cable to the power source. The power output of the power source receives a plurality of modified return reachability signals that each comprises an identity of the PDU, an identity of a respective power output of the PDU, and an identity of a respective load. A reference between these identities is stored by the power source in a database.

  • Patent number: 11233388
Abstract: A method of limiting a total power delivered by a power distribution unit having a plurality of output connectors is disclosed. A configurable power threshold is assigned for each of the output connectors so that a sum of the configurable power thresholds of the output connectors does not exceed a maximum rated power for the power distribution unit. A power level of a given output connector is sensed. A delivery of power by the given output connector is stopped when the power level of the given output connector exceeds the configurable power threshold for the given output connector. Power delivery may be resumed in response to receiving a user command to rearm the given output connector. A power distribution unit adapted to limit its total power delivery is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10886728
Abstract: A circuit comprises an output connector connectable to a load. A relay selectively connects the output connector to an AC power source. The relay is responsive to a disabling signal to disconnect the output connector from the AC power source. A sensor senses a level of power delivered to the load via the output connector. A detector emits a first fault signal when the sensed power level exceeds a fixed power limit. A latch maintains the first fault signal until it receives a rearm signal. A controller emits a second fault signal when the sensed power level exceeds a configurable power threshold, receives a user command to rearm the circuit, and in response to receiving the user command, emits the rearm signal and ceases the emission of the second fault signal. A logic combiner generates the disabling signal when it receives one of the first and second fault signals.

  • Patent number: 10749334
Abstract: A method of preventing disjunctions in a power distribution unit having a plurality of output connectors is disclosed. A power level of each of the output connectors is sensed. It is detected that the power level of a given output connector exceeds a fixed power limit. In response to the detection, a delivery of power by the given output connector is stopped while maintaining a delivery of power by a remainder of the output connectors. Power delivery may be resumed in response to receiving a user command to rearm the given output connector. A power distribution unit adapted to prevent disjunctions is also disclosed.
