    Abstract: A wiper device of a motor vehicle has a cowl provided adjacent a front edge of a windshield, and a bulkhead in a form of a box laterally extending under the cowl. The space in the bulkhead is divided into a wiper housing at a front side and an air duct at a rear side by a front panel. A wiper linkage is provided in the bulkhead under the cowl, extending through an opening formed in the front panel.
