  • Patent number: 10575618
Abstract: A hand applicator of liquids from openable capsules includes (from top to bottom) a semi-rigid membrane (1), an unfolding impermeable membrane (5), an openable capsule (6), a non-collapsible concave dissector (8), and an absorber (9) and is welded with a rounded edge seam (10). The semirigid membrane (1) comprises a fixed portion (11), a raisable grip (2), and a means for raising the grip (2)—a bending segment (3) or an edge cut-out (4) of the grip (2). The grip (2) and the segment (3) are congruently cut-through and connected by breakable bridges (15). The segment (3) bends down to enable a finger access under the grip (2) to raise the grip (2) and break the capsule (6). The grip (2) includes stiffeners (14), a diametrical hinge (12) with a more pliable central part (13), and a means (21) for opening the capsule (6). The impermeable membrane (5) unfolds and elongates to allow the finger to break the capsule (6) and includes a flat edge (16). The capsule (6) contains a liquid (7) and an actuator (20).

  • Patent number: 9283362
Abstract: A hand applicator of encapsulated liquids for their even distribution on surfaces includes an upper side (an impermeable membrane), a capsule of a liquid, an evenly perforated dissector, and a working side (an absorber) and is characterized in that the dissector is non-collapsible semi-rigid concave and contains the capsule. The upper side includes semi-rigid and outer membranes, and is flat and non-folding. The dissector has elevations on its inside. The impermeable membrane and capsule are permanently fixed together or have a common wall. The capsule is an easily peelable, high-barrier blister and includes an aid for opening at a predetermined location. The upper side, dissector, and working side are welded together along the edge of the applicator resulting in a rounded seam that essentially follows the spherical curvature of the dissector. The semi-rigid membrane has an aperture over the capsule and a cut-through handle with a diametric hinge and stiffeners.

  • Patent number: 7419321
Abstract: A hand applicator of encapsulated liquids, such as cosmetic, hygienic, and pharmaceutical formulations or household chemicals, of different viscosity. When the user squeezes the applicator in her hand, the capsule inside it ruptures, possibly with a clap, and releases a liquid that after being collected by the drain passes through the perforated dissector to get evenly distributed in the absorber and then evenly applied on skin or other surfaces. Inert and impermeable capsules ensure stability of stored liquid formulations. Pressurized capsules are easily tactilely located and crashed. A capsule may be permanently or elastically fixed within the applicator. The applicator may include several capsules that may contain different liquids. A refillable applicator can be refilled with new capsules and used more than once. A transparent impermeable back side the applicator enhances hygiene and creates visibility of the capsule. An impervious glove-applicator for applying hazardous substances is disclosed.

  • Patent number: 6358214
Abstract: Electrocardiographic (ECG) scanner is a system for electrocardiological diagnostics by combining original ECG leads having known spatial positions into synthesized ECG leads having arbitrary spatial positions, analyzing electric signals of synthesized ECG leads, and producing scalar tracings (synthesized ECGs) in them. An ECG scanner automatically scans the three-dimensional space formed of a boundless number of synthesized ECG leads to detect the one which is collinear with a pathology and where earlier invisible or poorly discernible pathological ECG signs become noticeable or more manifesting and reaching diagnostic thresholds. An ECG scanner reveals diagnostically valuable information that is ordinarily lost in conventional electrocardiography and vectorcardiography.
