  • Patent number: 11278962
Abstract: The invention relates to a press for producing dimensionally stable preforms from material that is substantially in the form of a powder, in particular iron powder and or ceramic powder, with a tool comprising an upper die and a lower die, wherein the upper die and the lower die respectively comprise at least one die, wherein a first die and a second die are arranged together, one sliding in the other, as the upper die or lower die and respectively have a first end and a second end, lying opposite the first end, wherein at least one of the two dies spreads out along one portion to such an extent that the second end thereof has a width that at least approaches an outer diameter of a die holder associated with the second end. This allows presses of a compact form to be made available for producing dimensionally stable preforms of high quality and great complexity.

  • Publication number: 20210178482
Abstract: A blank for a conduit arrangement includes an annular conduit having a first end and a second end, which is formed by a channel surrounded by a wall. The conduit arrangement has an axis of rotation and the conduit extends in a circumferential direction over an angle of more than 360 degrees about the axis of rotation and forms at least one wind turn. The axis of rotation is arranged perpendicularly to a base surface, the wall having first surfaces which are arranged at a first angle of at least 30 degrees relative to the base surface or in which a surface normal forms at least one second angle of 0 to 60 degrees with respect to the base surface. First partial surfaces of the walls, which face one another in an axial direction, of adjacent turns are arranged spaced apart from one another. The blank is produced by an additive manufacturing process.

  • Patent number: 10864714
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a body by means of an additive production method (AM) by using metal powder, comprising the following steps: designing the body in a computer-simulated manner while taking into account at least one region of the body to be processed and transferring data to an additive production device, in particular an additive powder-bed production device, successively providing the metal powder in order to construct powder layers arranged one on the other, successively hardening parts of the powder layers in order to form at least one specified structure in the powder layers arranged one on the other, wherein the structure is at least partially filled with metal powder of the powder layers, and calibrating a body, which is created by means of the structure, in the region to be processed. The invention further relates to a corresponding device, to a body produced in such a way, and to a computer program product for performing the method.
