Abstract: An apparatus and a method are provided for a sports paddle for pickleball, tennis, smashball, ping pong, or racquetball. The sports paddle comprises a planar portion defining opposing flat surfaces for striking a ball and a handle portion for grasping in a hand. A skin layer encloses the planar portion and the handle portion. Rounded edges are disposed around the planar portion and the handle portion. The planar portion may comprise a core material surround by a rigid portion. The rigid portion may comprise 20-24 lb. foam while the core material is a honeycomb structured material. A synthetic or polymeric grip is wrapped around the handle portion to provide stability and firmness for a player. A binding secures the grip to a neck of the planar portion. An end cap placed at an end of the handle provides support and protection of the paddle.

Abstract: An apparatus and methods are provided for a variable angle clamp assembly. The variable angle clamp assembly comprises a first support arm that may be pivoted relative to a second support arm. A coupling mechanism enables fixating an angle between the first and second support arms. A clamp assembly is mounted onto an elongate opening disposed along each of the first and second support arms. Each clamp assembly includes a fixed jaw and a movable jaw that may be tightened by way of a threaded screw and a handle. The clamp assemblies are slidable and rotatable along the elongate openings. A lock stop enables the clamp assembly to be fixated relative to each of the first and second support arms. The clamping assemblies may be manipulated into a variety of angles and radial distances along the support arms to provide a variety of clamping solutions.

Abstract: An apparatus and methods are provided for an insulated beverage sleeve to maintain the temperature of liquid contents within a beverage container. The sleeve includes an insulative layer between an inner layer and an outer layer that are housed within an outer cylinder. The outer cylinder is configured to withstand impacts and protect the beverage container. The inner and outer layers may be formed of polyethylene or other suitable plastic. The insulative layer is a cylindrical member of fumed silica vacuum insulation that is disposed around the inner layer and surrounded by the outer layer. A disc of fumed silica vacuum insulation is disposed at the bottom of the sleeve to cooperate with the insulative layer to surround the beverage container. Top and bottom cushions are coupled with the outer cylinder to withstand being dropped onto a hard surface such as a floor, or a tennis court.

Abstract: An apparatus and methods are provided for an insulated beverage bottle to maintain the temperature of liquid contents and exhibit reduced sound upon being dropped onto a hard surface such as a tennis court. The insulated bottle includes a bottom cushion and a top cushion that are coupled to an outer cylinder. The outer cylinder and the top and bottom cushions exhibit impact resistance and noise suppression properties. A double-walled container is disposed inside the outer cylinder. An insulative material is disposed between the doubled-walled container and the outer cylinder. The insulative comprises fumed silica vacuum insulation that surrounds a majority of the exterior of the double-walled cylinder. A top lid is threadably joined with the insulated bottle such that liquid contents may be stored in an interior of the bottle. A straw holder provides access to a straw and prevents liquid contents from leaking out of the bottle.

Abstract: An apparatus and methods for a modular inflatable dock portion are provided for being assembled into various desirable arrangements over waterways. The modular inflatable dock portion comprises an envelope having a shape for floating on water. The envelope preferably is comprised of a pliable, lightweight, water-resistant material. Hinges are disposed along sides of the envelope and configured for joining with adjacent modular inflatable dock portions. The hinges allow movement between joined dock portions to accommodate hydrodynamic phenomena typically encountered by floating docks. A chamber within the envelope is configured for being inflated with air or other suitable gas. Drop stitches are disposed within the chamber and configured to maintain an overall shape and size of the envelope. The drop stitches may be arranged in the envelope in a manner that causes the inflatable dock portion to maintain a desired configuration regardless of internal pressure within the chamber.

The breakaway silicone ring includes a rigid core coupled with a molded silicone portion and an optional NFC chip. The rigid core comprises a series of curved segments arranged in a loop configuration. A union between each pair of adjacent segments is configured to maintain the loop configuration while allowing for separation upon application of an external force. The unions may be comprised of magnetic ends of the segments, or sockets at one end of the segments that receive protrusions at the other end of the segments. The silicone molded portion is exterior surface layer disposed around the core. The silicone molded portion may include openings that allow direct observation of portions of the core.
