The tattooing device is adjustable to vary the speed of reciprocation of the needle and to vary the force with which the needle is driven. The tattooing apparatus also includes decorative accessories that can be attached to the tattooing device to personalize the appearance of the tattooing device in order to facilitate identification of a particular tattooing device among many. The accessories may also convert the tattooing device into a toy car or motorcycle.
