Abstract: A brain stimulation apparatus and method making use of electromagnetics in the form of solenoids, in some embodiments, to stimulate brain function during sleep using oscillating low-powered electromagnetic fields to activate select regions of the brain of a subject which interact weakly with said regions, including, in some embodiments, the prefrontal cortex, the hippocampus, visual cortex, and posterior cortical hot zone.
