  • Publication number: 20260052183
Abstract: A system can receive, at an extended reality (XR) system worn by a user, a reverberation control signal that is external to media content. The system can generate a reverberation setting comprising a plurality of reverberation parameters utilized to control a simulated reverberation of audio content. The reverberation control signal can tune the reverberation setting for a given application running on the XR system on a per application basis. In some cases, the reverberation setting may be generated based on a video classification, a reverberant characteristic, and/or the reverberation control signal. Other aspects are also described and claimed.

  • Publication number: 20250380101
Abstract: Aspects of the subject technology provide individual volume controls for concurrently operating audio sources at an electronic device. The audio sources may be spatialized audio sources that are associated with display objects that are displayed to appear at various three-dimensional locations around a user of the electronic device, such as in an extended reality environment. In this way, an electronic device may provide the user with the ability to individually control the volumes of the various audio streams originating from the various three-dimensional locations around the user. The individual volume controls may be applied according to individual volume control curves, and/or based on a user intent determined by the electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20250377855
Abstract: A computer system includes one or more input devices and one or more audio output components. An input is detected via the input device(s). In response to detecting the input and in accordance with a determination that the input is a first type of input and audio content of a respective type of audio content is being output by the audio output component(s), an output volume of the audio content is adjusted. In response to detecting the input and in accordance with a determination that the input is the first type of input and that one or more noise management criteria are met, one or more parameters of an active noise management function are adjusted, where the one or more noise management criteria include a criterion that is met when the respective type of audio content is not being output by the one or more audio output components.

  • Publication number: 20250232755
Abstract: An electronic device includes one or more pose sensors for detecting a pose of a user of the electronic device relative to a first physical environment and is in communication with one or more audio output devices. While a first pose of the user meets first presentation criteria, the electronic device provides audio content at a first simulated spatial location relative to the user. The electronic device detects a change in the pose of the user from the first pose to a second pose. In response to detecting the change in the pose of the user, and in accordance with a determination that the second pose of the user does not meet the first presentation criteria, the electronic device provides audio content at a second simulated spatial location relative to the user that is different from the first simulated spatial location.
