Abstract: Systems and methods are directed toward torquing devices that can be used to install and remove threaded connectors. A wrench head can be used which includes a main body and two opposing teeth extending inwardly from the main body. The two opposing teeth can be positioned to receive corresponding grooves of a rotatable connector. A torque on the main body may be applied by the two opposing teeth to the two corresponding grooves of the rotatable connector, to engage or disengage the threaded connector with a threaded opening. The wrench head can be dimensioned to correspond with a 38999-type connector of a specific size.

Abstract: Systems and methods are directed toward adjustable-span torquing devices that can be used to install and remove threaded connectors. An adjustable wrench head can be used which includes a main portion and an adjustable portion, both including at least one surface to contact a threaded connector. The adjustable portion may be movably connected to the main portion. The adjustable wrench head may use an adjustment mechanism that can be actuated to adjust the secondary surface of the adjustable portion relative to the surface of the main portion into contact with the threaded connector. The secondary surface and the primary surface may be positioned to apply torque to the threaded connector in response to a rotation of the main portion and the adjustable portion to engage or disengage the threaded connector with a threaded opening. The adjustable wrench head can be dimensioned to adjust to receive multiple sizes of 38999-type connectors.

Abstract: A vehicle is equipped with an automated device for covering the windows of the vehicle. The device comprises a collection container, a plurality of the extensions attached to the collection container, a motor attached to the collection container to rotate the collection container, and a covering attached to the plurality of extensions and sized to cover the windows of the vehicle. The rotation of the collection container extends and retracts the plurality of extensions which results in the deployment of the covering over the windows of the vehicle and the collection of the covering from the windows of the vehicle. In a preferred embodiment, the plurality of extensions comprises malleable metal strips with eyelets at the end of the metal strips. The eyelets and the metal strips are positioned within sleeves or channels which are made integral to the covering. The covering includes a reflective fabric that is substantially opaque to sunlight.
