The container includes a body with a top, a bottom and a side wall which form a substantial portion of the container and which define an interior cavity. The body has a central axis extending from the bottom to the top. A lid is removably attached to the top of the body. The lid includes a dispenser for dispensing liquids from within the container. A counterweight is located in the bottom of the container and is positioned so as to maintain the central axis substantially vertical when the container is placed on a surface. The container is particularly beneficial for small children, the elderly and the physically handicapped.
