Abstract: An integrated glucose monitoring system may include a glucometer and an electronic temperature sensor. The glucometer may be configured to attach to a mobile device. The glucometer may include a test strip aperture, measurement electronics, an electronics port, and/or a cooling vent configured to vent air across the measurement electronics. The temperature sensor may be physically coupled to the glucometer. The temperature sensor may be exposed from the glucometer to an ambient environment approximate the glucometer. The temperature sensor may be electronically coupled to the measurement electronics. The measurement electronics may be configured to adjust a blood glucose reading based on an ambient temperature reading taken by the electronic temperature sensor approximately concurrently with the blood glucose reading.
