  • Patent number: 8497888
Abstract: An image display device which can change an image size without the image deterioration and can suppress the large-sizing of the image display device is provided. The image display device includes an optical flux generator which is configured to generate and radiate an optical flux in response to an image signal read out for every dot clock, and an optical scanning part which is configured to display an image by scanning the optical flux two-dimensionally. By changing timing at which the optical flux is radiated from the optical flux generator, a size of an image to be displayed is changed. The change of the timing at which the optical flux is radiated from the optical flux generator is performed by changing a period of the dot clock.
