  • Patent number: 8337186
Abstract: An example molding method includes: feeding a molten foamable resin by injection in a cavity formed in a molding die; allowing the molten foamable resin to flow in the cavity; and foaming and solidifying the molten foamable resin to mold a resin foam product. The example molding method performs flow rate control by controlling a flow rate of the molten foamable resin at a welding portion to be equal to or higher than a flow rate of the molten foamable resin at an upstream portion adjacent to the welding portion.

  • Publication number: 20080012166
Abstract: In a molding method for producing a molded foamed resin product in which an expandable resin containing a resin material containing a foaming agent is charged into a cavity between a stationary mold half and a movable mold half and core-backing is then performed by setting the movable mold half back from the stationary mold half to extend the cavity to a volume corresponding to the size of the molded foamed resin product, the core-backing speed is controlled to be higher in a latter core-backing term than in a previous core-backing term, thereby providing a good-appearance molded foamed resin product having a skin layer over the entire surrounding surface and a homogeneous foam structure under the skin layer.

  • Publication number: 20070187859
Abstract: A foaming molten resin containing reinforcement fibers and super critical fluid is injected into a cavity with a short shot (a), the foaming molten resin is made self-foam and flow in the cavity (b), and a volume of the cavity is increased by expanding molds so as to expand the foaming molten resin in the cavity (c). During the expansion step (c), the expansion of the foaming molten resin is assisted by gas vent, vacuum suction, partial pressure adding with gas or resin, or a spring back force of the reinforcement fiber in the foaming molten resin. Accordingly, there can be provided a resin foam molded article that has no improperly large air voids therein, a sufficient volume expansion thereof, and a superior transferability function.

  • Publication number: 20070182048
Abstract: There are provided a plasticizing-kneading step of plasticizing a reinforcement fiber and a resin in a cylinder having a screw, and a metering-injecting step of supplying a physical foaming agent to the resin and injecting them into a cavity of a mold, after metering the necessary amount of resin for molding, a foaming-agent supplying step of supplying the physical foaming agent to the resin passed through a nozzle after being plasticized, and a mixing-dispersion promoting step of promoting mixing and dispersion of the physical foaming agent in the resin in a resin flow path from a supply portion of the physical foaming agent to the cavity of the mold. Accordingly, any breakage of reinforcement fiber is prevented and the mixing and dispersion of the physical foaming agent is improved.

  • Publication number: 20070176313
Abstract: In a molding method of a fiber filler reinforced resin molded article, in which a reinforcement fiber and a resin are plasticized and kneaded in a material supply cylinder including a screw with an anti counterflow portion, and the resin with the reinforcement fiber mixed therewith is injected into a cavity of a mold, the reinforcement fiber is mixed with the resin in the cylinder at a portion downstream of the anti counterflow portion of the screw, and a physical foaming agent is supplied into the cylinder at a portion downstream of the anti counterflow portion. Accordingly, there can be provided a molding method or apparatus of a fiber filler reinforced resin molded article that can improve properties by preventing the reinforcement fiber from being broken.

  • Patent number: 7182382
Abstract: The resin-made floor panel structure including a trunk floor F1 made of resin integrally forming a spare tire storage space S1, and a trunk board B1 made of resin disposed so as to cover the floor panel, fitting parts Sw1, Bk1 for achieving the closure of the spare tire storage space are integrally formed respectively in the trunk floor and trunk board. Thereby, in using resin materials for a floor panel, transmission of noise in the floor section to the compartment side can be suppressed by a relatively simple structure without increasing the weight.
