  • Publication number: 20180054263
Abstract: There is provided a radio apparatus including: a radio transceiver configured to transmit and receive a signal via a plurality of antennas; and a processor configured to control the radio transceiver so that a signal transmitted by a first antenna among the plurality of antennas is received by second and third antennas neighboring the first antenna and detect at least difference between amplitudes of the signals received by the respective second and third antennas or difference between phases of the signals received by the respective second and third antennas.

  • Patent number: 9735815
Abstract: To provide a radio apparatus including an amplifier, a first mixer, an analog-to-digital converter, a distortion compensator, and an oscillator. The amplifier amplifies power of a transmission signal. The mixer unit mixes a feedback signal from the amplifier with a local signal of a predetermined frequency. The analog-to-digital converter performs analog-to-digital conversion on an output signal of the mixer unit. The distortion compensator compensates nonlinear distortion of the amplifier based on a digital signal obtained by performing the analog-to-digital conversion. The oscillator changes a frequency of the local signal to be mixed with the feedback signal in the first mixer in a time division manner, with frequency spacing corresponding to a sampling rate of the analog-to-digital converter.

  • Publication number: 20140286458
Abstract: An RF-LSI receives a first signal transmitted with a first system frequency and a second signal transmitted with a second system frequency. In the RF-LSI 50, a frequency converter 55 performs frequency conversion on the received first signal (i.e., a master-received signal) and the received second signal (i.e., a slave-received signal) such that the first signal and the second signal do not overlap each other on the frequency axis and the frequency of each of the first signal and the second signal falls within a range containing a reference frequency and having a predetermined bandwidth. A mixer mixes the first signal subjected to the frequency conversion and the second signal subjected to the frequency conversion. An ADC performs analog-to-digital conversion on the mixed signal.

  • Patent number: 8781422
Abstract: An antenna receives an RF signal and an RF signal at different frequency bands. An oscillator outputs a local oscillator signal at a frequency f1. An oscillator outputs a local oscillator signal at a frequency f2. A modulator modulates the frequency based on the local oscillator signal at the frequency f1 and the local oscillator signal at the frequency f2, and generates a plurality of local oscillator signals at different frequencies. A frequency converter mixes the plurality of local oscillator signals, at different frequencies, generated by the modulator, with the RF signal and the RF signal, and generates baseband signals of the RF signal and the RF signal. A signal processor performs a predetermined process for the baseband signals generated by the frequency converter.

  • Publication number: 20140118068
Abstract: An amplification output control device includes: a determination unit that determines whether or not a gain of a power amplifier varies based on a monitor value of input power from a driver amplifier to the power amplifier, and, when determining that the gain varies, outputs a monitor value of output power of the power amplifier to a driver control unit to cause the driver control unit to execute control of a bias voltage of the driver amplifier; and a control unit that determines whether or not the gain varies based on the monitor value of the output power of the power amplifier when determining that the gain does not vary based on the monitor value of the input power to the power amplifier, and, when determining that the gain varies, controls the bias voltage of the power amplifier.
