  • Publication number: 20070076255
Abstract: When an image data to be displayed is held in a cache memory 602, an image output apparatus 101 reads out the image data from the cache memory 602 and displays the read image data (S61, S65). When the image data is not held in the cache memory 602, the image output apparatus reads out the image data from a recording medium 603 and displays the read image data (S63, S62, S65). After the user selects a date folder 1202, the image output apparatus 103 searches and extracts image data and displays a list of the image data 1222 pertaining to the date folder (step 1104). The image output apparatus 103 assigns image data to be printed out to other image output apparatus 103 and requests image data printout. The other image output apparatus 103 convey printed items to the image output apparatus having received the order (apparatus having requested the printout) using a conveyer 215.

  • Publication number: 20020118381
Abstract: A printing apparatus is provided with an input unit (6) for inputting image data, and an output unit (12) for printing an image on the basis of the image data. The output unit (12) prints a test image represented by input image data including reference color development characteristic information stored beforehand in a control unit (2). The control unit (2) calculates output-correcting values on the basis of the difference between color development characteristic information included in image data obtained by reading the printed image by the input unit (6) and reference color development characteristic information. The control unit (2) corrects the image data input by the input unit (6) by using the output-correcting values to provide corrected image data, and the output unit (12) prints an image represented by the corrected image data.

  • Patent number: 5853255
Abstract: A gradation correction data used in correcting the gradation of the printed image is recorded on the leader film of the ink ribbon in a form of optically readable marks. Then the ink ribbon is set in a thermal printer, the marks are read out by an optical sensor to obtain the gradation correction data. Then, the gradation correction of the image data to be printed is carried out by referring to the correction data thus obtained prior to the actual printing of the image data.

  • Patent number: 5278640
Abstract: A pictorial image comprising pixels represented by a combination of density values in respect to first color components (R, G, B) is transformed to a pictorial image comprising pixels represented by combination of density values in respect to second color components (C, M, Y). In accordance with the first color modification method, an operation expressed as Q=.alpha.P+.beta. is implemented to an original density value P using two correction coefficients .alpha. and .beta. determined in advance to determine a density value Q after transformation. In addition, in accordance with the second color modification method, density values after transformation are determined by the calculation of the k-th degree masking equation using the k-th degree masking coefficients. At this time, a color cube is defined with respect to the first color components. The color cube thus defined is devided into an n number of blocks. The k-th degree masking coefficients are defined every respective blocks.
