  • Patent number: 8602890
Abstract: To provide a game device capable of improving reality regarding an operation of a game in which an attack on one or more attack targets is performed. Remaining number-of-times information storage means (70) stores remaining number-of-times information that indicates a remaining number of times an attack on one or more attack targets can be performed. Display means (74) displays a screen that includes a first image, containing a plurality of reference regions, and a second image. Image moving means (72) moves at least one of the first image and the second image according to a direction instructing operation of a player. Remaining number-of-times information update means (76) increases the remaining number of times the attack on one or more attack target can be performed based on a number of one or more reference regions included in a superposition region in which the first image and the second image are superposed on each other.

  • Patent number: 7070500
Abstract: In a game system 1, instruction marks corresponding to sounds constituting part of a music number are displayed on a monitor 3, and a game player plays a game by operating a signal generating device 5 by at least one of a hitting motion and a swinging motion at specified timings based on the displayed instruction marks. The game system 1 is provided with a display means for successively renewably displaying the instruction marks on a display screen of the monitor 3, a signal generator provided in the signal generating device 5 for generating a signal when the signal generating device is operated by the above motion, an evaluating means for evaluating a game result based on a generation timing of the signal, and a sound generating means for outputting at least the background sounds.

  • Patent number: 6843726
Abstract: A game system is provided with a converting means including a voice input member, such as a microphone, for allowing the game player or his/her friend to input voices and for converting the inputted voices into electrical signal data, a sound data storage for storing the electrical signal data obtained by the conversion together with predetermined sound-relating data corresponding to contents of instructions, a sound generator for generating voices from the corresponding electrical signal data when a game player makes a motion in response to the content of instruction, and a device for evaluating a game result based on the content of instruction. Accordingly, a sound output type game system which can provide more interesting and enjoyable games can be realized.

  • Patent number: 6030289
Abstract: An inverted polygon data memory stores inverted polygon data generated in advance, among models to be considered for reflection on a water surface, of those models whose polygon data are stored in a polygon data memory. Based on an image display graphic command from a CPU, an image display processor processes graphics data and sends image data to a frame buffer. The image display graphic command comprises data generated by a graphics data generator based on the data stored in the inverted polygon data memory and the polygon data memory. An image including models of the inverted polygon data as being reflected on the water surface is displayed in real-time in a three-dimensional game space on a display monitor so as to be quickly movable in response to movement of the viewpoint of a game character that is also displayed in the three-dimensional game space.
