  • Publication number: 20090090452
Abstract: In the production of a ceramic substrate (1) with a level difference (3), a surface of a fired substrate obtained by firing of a ceramic green sheet is honed to form the level difference (3). Alternatively, a level difference is first formed through processing of a ceramic green sheet, laminating of a ceramic green sheet, or the like, and thereafter the ceramic green sheet is fired to obtain a fired substrate (ceramic substrate) (1) with a level difference (3).

  • Publication number: 20060021773
Abstract: In a casing body of an audio device that includes a main body and a front surface panel formed to protrude outside from an upper surface and side surfaces of the main body and has having a sharp edge formed at the corner part of the rear end face of the front surface panel, a small boss is formed inside the sharp edge. When a finger touches the sharp edge, a force concentrated on a point of the sharp edge is dispersed to two points of the sharp edge and the boss due to the action of the boss. Accordingly, even when the user's finger touches the sharp edge, a fear that the finger is injured is decreased. Since the boss is provided inside the sharp edge, an external appearance employing the sharp edge can be maintained in view of its design.

  • Patent number: 5627563
Abstract: A large multicolor display apparatus displays pictures and animations of high quality with multiple colors. The apparatus is used for advertisement and information purposes. The apparatus comprises unit blocks, which are divided into a plurality of sections. In each of the sections, there is arranged a multicolor display element having a rotary color display member. The color of each unit block is determined by the multicolor display elements disposed in the unit block. Each of the unit blocks, therefore, can display multiple colors, to improve the quality of images displayed on the apparatus. Since the multicolor display elements can be prepared in small sizes, they operate at high speed to display animations and make the apparatus thinner and lighter.

  • Patent number: 4164653
Abstract: The present invention relates to a solvent primarily composed of a low polymer of chlorotrifluoroethylene for the extraction of an oil fraction in water and measuring the concentration of the oil fraction in water by solvent extraction in the infrared absorption method. The low polymers of chlorotrifluoroethylene contemplated as a solvent herein may be a single polymer or a mixture of polymers of different degrees of polymerization as shown in the following formulae: ##STR1## WHEREIN BOTH ATOMS REPRESENTED BY X in the first chemical formula are the same or different from each other and X is a chlorine or fluorine atom, and n is 2 or 3.

  • Patent number: 4156127
Abstract: A heating tube adapted to electrically heat a fluid carried therethrough includes an inner tubular layer of polytetrafluoroethylene, a second tubular layer surrounding the inner layer and being formed of a homogeneous mixture of polytetrafluoroethylene and electrically conductive carbon, and a third layer surrounding the second layer and being formed of polytetrafluoroethylene. The three layers are coextruded together. The third layer is cut away at at least two circumferential points and the exposed second layer is there provided with a sintered coating for finely divided silver and finely divided polytetrafluoroethylene. The sintered coating is then wrapped with a silicone resin tape containing dispersed silver particles and a metal ring is then fitted over the silicone resin tape thereby forming an electrical terminal for the heating tube.
