  • Patent number: 7806041
Abstract: A cylinder body includes a first guide surface made up from first guide grooves and a first bulging portion, wherein a slide table is displaceably supported on the first guide surface via a guide mechanism. Additionally, guide members of a guide block that constitutes the guide mechanism are inserted into and fixed within the first guide grooves. Further, the cylinder body is equipped with a second guide surface, which is formed with substantially the same shape as the first guide surface. In the event that the first guide surface is oriented upwardly and the slide table is installed thereon, the second guide surface acts as a mounting surface, whereas, in the event that the second guide surface is oriented upwardly and the slide table is installed thereon, the first guide surface acts as the mounting surface.

  • Patent number: 6662672
Abstract: A linear actuator comprises a rotary driving source, a tube member which is supported by a support rib extending in a substantially horizontal direction along a side section of a base member, an internal movable member and an external movable member which are integrally displaceable along the tube member under the magnetic coupling action, a slide screw shaft which is connected to a drive shaft of the rotary driving source and which transmits the rotary driving force to the internal movable member, and a slide screw nut for the slide screw shaft to be screwed therein for converting the rotary motion into the rectilinear motion.

  • Patent number: 6205906
Abstract: A rodless cylinder comprises a cylinder tube and guide shafts which are arranged in parallel to one another. The cylinder tube comprises a piston therein which is displaceable in the axial direction. Driving magnets are provided on outer circumference of the piston. A slider, which is displaceable in the axial direction, is provided on the guide shafts. The slider is supported on the guide shafts by the aid of ball bushes. Driven magnets, which correspond to the driving magnets, are provided in a hole of the slider. Inner circumferential surfaces of the driven magnets are slightly separated from an outer circumferential surface of the cylinder tube. Accordingly, it is unnecessary to apply any surface treatment to the cylinder tube, and it is possible to avoid appearance of dust or the like. It is unnecessary to assemble the rodless cylinder with a high degree of accuracy, and thus the production cost can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 6148714
Abstract: A cylinder tube is formed in an integrated manner on a base with a support rib intervening therebetween. A slider is displaced in accordance with a displacement action of a piston which is slidable in the cylinder tube. Since the cylinder tube is supported by the support rib, there is no fear of warpage even when the cylinder tube is lengthy. Therefore, the displacement range of the slider is enlarged.
