    Abstract: A display device includes: pixels arranged in a display region; photodiodes provided in two or more of the pixels, respectively; a shift register circuit configured to sequentially output an output signal to the pixels and the photodiodes; a switching circuit configured to switch coupling between the shift register circuit and the pixels, and coupling between the shift register circuit and the photodiodes; and a control circuit configured to control a display period for display by the pixels and a detection period for detection by the photodiodes in a time division manner. The control circuit is configured to sequentially output a gate drive signal to the pixels by an operation of the shift register circuit and the switching circuit in the display period, and sequentially output a sensor control signal to the photodiodes by an operation of the shift register circuit and the switching circuit in the detection period.

    Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus body, an image forming device detachably attached to the apparatus body, a sheet conveying path through which a recording medium travels, a roller disposed along the sheet conveying path, a rotary body configured to rotate the roller manually to remove the recording medium in paper jam, and a guiding device. The guiding device includes a sheet detector disposed along the sheet conveying path to detect the recording medium passing through the sheet conveying path and a guide to suggest removal of the image forming device to remove the recording medium in paper jam when the sheet detector no longer detects the recording medium. The guide also suggests removal of the image forming device when the sheet detector detects the recording medium after a predetermined number of rotations of the rotary body.

    Abstract: Discharging of used printing presses is executed in a narrow space of a mimeograph printing machine body, both simply and cheaply. A pair of rollers convey a used printing press peeled off from a plate cylinder. A press receiving plate swings by 180.degree. around an axis. It receives the printing press conveyed by the pair of rollers at a first position thereof and further conveys the same by its swinging activity toward a second position. A discharge box collects and allows piling of the used printing presses conveyed by the press receiving plate. It is disposed at the end of the conveying path and below the second position of the press receiving plate. The press receiving plate thereby performs both swinging activity around the axis to convey the used printing presses toward the discharge box and compresses the same to increase the number of the printing presses to be discharged therein.
