    Abstract: A tire air pressure monitoring system for a vehicle includes: transmitters in wheels for transmitting a frame related to a tire air pressure at a regular transmission period; and an in-vehicle receiver having an electric wave reception unit that receives the frame and a specific electric wave from a mobile terminal and a control unit that detects a decrease in the tire air pressure. The control unit switches to a specific mode in which the electric wave reception unit receives the specific electric wave at every first intermittent period while a starting switch is off, and switches from the specific mode or a power saving mode to a monitoring mode in which the electric wave reception unit receives the frame at every second intermittent period while the starting switch is off.

    Abstract: In the present invention, in cutting the top and bottom surfaces of a hot-rolled sheet by the rotation of milling cutters holding the sheet therebetween in the thickness direction of the sheet in the running process of the hot-rolled sheet, the cutting resistance determined by the cutting conditions including the type of hot-rolled sheet, the temperature in cutting, and the cut depth is controlled by the adjustment of cut depth, and cutting is performed by making the tension produced on the hot-rolled sheet by the cutting resistance lower than the breaking strength of the joint portion to prevent the breakage of hot-rolled sheet.

    Abstract: A cover plate assembly for wall-mounted electrical wiring devices includes a plate frame disposed on a wall surface as surrounding a wall opening in the wall surface. The wall opening is provided to receive therein one or more electrical wiring devices such as switches. The plate frame has a window through which a portion of the wiring device extends outwardly. A face plate is placed over the plate frame to entirely conceal the same. The face plate is made from a plastic material and has a center opening through which a portion of the electrical wiring device is exposed to be accessible from outside of said face plate. Also included in the assembly is an under plate which is to be fixed with respect to the wall surface for holding said plate frame therebetween. The under plate is made from a flat metal stamping and secured to the rear of the face plate for reinforcement of the same.

    Abstract: A wall bracket for mounting wiring devices comprises a flat frame having first and second jambs which define therebetween an opening for receiving the body portions of the wiring devices. The wiring device has a strap having mounting ears projecting on either side of the device and is attached to the frame with the mounting ears engaged into first and second slots formed in the frame. The first slots are formed in the first jamb and open to the opening for receiving the mounting ears on one side of the device. The second slots for receiving the mounting ears on the other side of the device are formed in a resilient strip extending along the second jamb in spaced relation outwardly thereof.

    Abstract: An air- and dust-proof cover for a flush mounting wiring fixture comprises a housing part having cylindrical parts respectively extended inward and outward from the housing part and having therein a flexible thin-wall portion for penetrating therethrough connecting wires to be connected to terminals of the wiring fixture to be housed in the housing part, the wires being thus passed through the flexible thin-wall portion broken by the wires as guided by the cylindrical parts, with any possibility of cracking of the housing part at such wire passing portion or of deterioration of the airtightness due to contraction of the housing part accompanying ambient temperature change effectively eliminated.
