  • Publication number: 20020002805
Abstract: A bonding member 1 comprising a metallic plate 2 formed as a small piece onto which a hot melt adhesive layer 3 is formed at least one side of said metallic plate 2, and a gypsum board mounting method for mounting a gypsum board 5 using the bonding member 1, comprising: fixing said bonding member 5 temporarily; pushing said gypsum board 5, heating the metallic plate 2 with electromagnetic induction to melt said hot melt adhesive layer 3; and thereby allowing the gypsum board 5 to be bonded easily without noise. The bonded gypsum board 5 can be recycled because it can be peeled off easily with melting the adhesive layer 3 without damage of the board.

  • Patent number: 4784026
Abstract: A hand held pneumatic screw aligner feeder device which may be used in any orientation incorporates a container for loose screws made up of two cup shaped walls forming a hopper, a groove between the walls used to align the screws, a separator to keep unaligned screws out of the groove, a chute to carry the screws to a pawl which allows only a single screw to be delivered to a transfer chamber and an inlet for compressed air along one of the hopper walls. The device may be coupled to a pneumatic screw tightener such that a screw in the transfer chamber is forced down a hose to the nose of the tightener so that the screw may be forced into an external surface. An actuating valve system within the aligner feeder tightener device, coupled to the tightener nose allows compressed air to flow to the aligner feeder when the tightener is not in use, and to the tightener only when the tightener is activated.

  • Patent number: 4736879
Abstract: A pressure intensifier is automatically driven repeatedly by compressed air from a compressed air source to produce highly compressed air for storage in a pressure chamber. The pressure chamber is selectively connected to or disconnected from a drive cylinder having housed therein a drive piston, under the control of a valve mechanism provided therebetween. By the actuation of the valve mechanism the highly compressed air stored in the pressure chamber is introduced into the drive cylinder to propel the drive piston, driving a nail or like fastening element into a hard receiving material such as concrete.

  • Patent number: 4581964
Abstract: A fastener driving tool comprising a tool body defining a fastener drive track, a fastener driver mounted in the drive track for movement through successive drive and return strokes, a magazine providing a space for retaining a coiled strip of fasteners, a guide passage leading from the magazine to the drive track along which a leading end portion of the strip with supported fasteners can be moved, and a fastener feeding mechanism for moving the leading end portion of the strip with fasteners along the guide passage. The feeding mechanism includes a L-shaped member having a horizontally extending portion and a vertical portion extending upwardly therefrom. The L-shaped member is disposed with respect to the guide passage such that the horizontal extending portion extends through a continuous longitudinal gap in the strip and the vertically extending portion extends alongside the inner surface of the continuous wall of the strip defining the upper portion of the gap.

  • Patent number: 4075850
Abstract: This striking tool of an internal combustion type includes in a housing of a tool body a cylinder providing slidably a piston connecting to a driver. A combustion chamber is disposed around the side wall of the cylinder. A fluid controlled valve is disposed between the combustion chamber disposed around the side wall of the cylinder. A fluid controlled valve is disposed between the combustion chamber and a piston upper chamber of the cylinder, which is normally biased to close communication between the combustion chamber and the piston upper chamber and operated to open communication therebetween when mixture gas of combustible gas and air in the combustion chamber is exploded therein. When a trigger, disposed on the external of the tool body and driveable outwardly, is driven, said mixture gas at first enters and fills up the combustion chamber and then is ignited therein by igniting means.
