  • Patent number: 6773001
Abstract: A rear engine mount includes a rectangular upper metal plate member, a metal stopper member, and a lower metal plate member. The metal stopper member includes a pair of side plates, and a bottom plate. The lower metal plate member is disposed a predetermined distance away from the upper metal plate member in a facing condition, with the metal stopper member disposed therebetween, and includes a pair of retaining portions provided at opposite end positions. A second stopper portion includes a pair of vertical plate portions standing on the lower metal plate member, and a horizontal plate member which is attached to the ends of the vertical plate portions and extended over the bottom plate of the metal stopper member. A pair of elastic rubber support members is bonded to the lower surface of the upper metal plate member at opposite end portions.

  • Publication number: 20030183997
Abstract: A rear engine mount includes a rectangular upper metal plate member, a metal stopper member, and a lower metal plate member. The metal stopper member includes a pair of side plates, and a bottom plate, which collectively form a shape resembling the letter U, and stands on the lower surface of the upper metal plate member at longitudinally opposite end portions. The lower metal plate member is disposed a predetermined distance away from the upper metal plate member in a facing condition, with the metal stopper member disposed therebetween, and includes a pair of retaining portions provided at opposite end positions located in opposition to the opposite end portions of the upper metal plate member. A second stopper portion includes a pair of vertical plate portions which stands on the lower metal plate member, and a horizontal plate member which is attached to the ends of the vertical plate portions and extends over the bottom plate of the metal stopper member, thereby surrounding the bottom plate.
