  • Patent number: 7123293
Abstract: In image processing on digital image signals, a color difference due to a type of image sensing device by which the image signals have been acquired is compensated. • Patent number: 7039307
Abstract: A digital still camera has a function to perform first and second exposures in a single imaging sequence. In the first exposure, imaging conditions are determined to obtain proper exposure amount of the background with available light. Then, the second exposure is carried out with the flashlight to illuminate the main subject. The photographic sensitivity, the shutter speed, and the aperture value for the second exposure are determined such that the exposure value in the second exposure is under-exposure by two steps or more, compared to that in the first exposure. Images obtained by first and second exposures are synthesized to obtain a composite image.

  • Patent number: 6731402
Abstract: From a photosensitive material F, image data S1 is obtained together with the density Ds of the unexposed portion of the photosensitive material F. On the basis of this density Ds, the optimum characteristic curve for the photosensitive material F stored in the storing means 3 is modified by modifying means 4 to obtain a modified characteristic curve. In the storing means 3, a plurality of characteristic curves after the time lapse may be stored, and from these characteristic curves, a modified characteristic curve may be obtained. The modified characteristic curve is inputted to the transforming means 5, and on the basis of this, the image data S1 is transformed to provide processed image data S2. The processed image data S2 is reproduced as a print image K by the printing means 6.

  • Patent number: 6597866
Abstract: A camera uses a program shutter as a shutter device. When an exposure value becomes larger than EV9, a stop of the camera is closed down so as to increase an f-number. In a case that the camera is loaded with a photographic film having film sensitivity of ISO 1000 or more, an upper limit of a focus set position of a taking lens is fixed to 3 m. By utilizing a depth of field, a picture is taken in a state that a blur is reduced, relative to a subject existing within a range from a comparatively short photographic-distance to a far photographic-distance.
