  • Patent number: 6147439
Abstract: A piezoelectric substrate supporting structure for piezoelectric transformer is provided which, in the supporting and fixing of a piezoelectric substrate on a base plate or in an outer trim case, does not inhibit the vibration of the piezoelectric substrate, exhibits high impact resistance and enables stable supporting, is free from performance deterioration and enables simultaneously and easily performing an electrode takeoff from the piezoelectric substrate. Further, a piezoelectric transformer including the above piezoelectric substrate supporting structure is provided.

  • Patent number: 6049182
Abstract: A sinusoidal wave data stream for correcting a torque ripple of a motor is stored in a torque ripple corrective memory. As the motor rotates, rotational angle information is computed from a rotational pulse signal and a rotor magnetic pole position pulse signal, which are generated accompanying the rotation. A sinusoidal wave data corresponding to the rotational angle information is recalled. Then, the sinusoidal wave data constituting a torque ripple corrective signal is subtracted from a motor control signal. With the use of the motor control signal after the subtraction, the motor is driven and controlled. With this arrangement, the motor torque ripple, which is a main cause of speed fluctuation of a polyphase brushless motor, is suppressed and stable and precise motor speed control is achieved.

  • Patent number: 6031966
Abstract: The motor speed control device of the present invention is provided with an FG sensor and a waveform shaping circuit for obtaining N pulse signals (N.gtoreq.1 where N is an integer) in one rotation of a motor so as to control the rotation speed of the motor in accordance with period information of the FG pulse signal outputted from the waveform shaping circuit. The motor speed control device is further provided with an FG nonuniformity correcting circuit for correcting, by using respective period information of a rising edge-falling edge period and a falling edge-rising edge period, periodic nonuniformity of each period. The motor speed control device controls the motor in response to an actual speed error signal whose nonuniformity such as a duty error and a phase error has been corrected by the FG nonuniformity correcting circuit.

  • Patent number: 5963394
Abstract: The magnetic recording reproducing apparatus is of a type in which magnetic tape is loaded approximately parallel to a reference plane of a cassette, and in a tape guide group on magnetic tape take up side of a rotary head drum, a first take up side inclined guide on which magnetic tape is wound around immediately after it moves away from rotary head, a take up side guide roller arranged downstream and a second take up side inclined guide are included. Height of a lead formed at a fixed portion of rotary head drum is set such that it becomes lower than the lower end of the magnetic tape for its entire region, at the time of loading and unloading of the magnetic tape. By this structure, contact between the lower end of the magnetic tape and the edge of the lead at the time of loading and unloading of the magnetic tape can be avoided, and therefore damage on the magnetic tape caused by the lead edge can be prevented, and the life of the tape can be made longer.

  • Patent number: 5920442
Abstract: A cassette loading device including the following configuration: one cassette holder is fitted into the other cassette holder so as to slide in the cassette's direction of movement relative to the other. The other cassette holder is moved in linkage with the cassette pushing operation for magnetic tape cassette inserted into the one cassette holder, with a different amount of stroke from the pushed amount of stroke for the magnetic tape cassette inserted in the one cassette holder. Also, a timing change lever which is rotationally supported at a central portion across the length, is adapted to selectively become engaged at its distal end with the magnetic tape cassette held in the cassette holder. In the terminal end of the movement of the cassette, the opening which is provided at the other end of the timing change lever is detected so that the cassette in-pulling operation starts at the timing of the detection.

  • Patent number: 5537535
Abstract: A multi-CPU system including a fault monitoring facility comprises a plurality of central processing units interconnected through a system bus and sending and receiving data through a plurality of bus interface units inserted in the system bus. A fault monitoring bus in parallel with the system bus is commonly accessed by the bus interface units. A bus interface unit which detects a fault notifies the other bus interface units simultaneously using the fault monitoring bus. Data-originating interface units and data-destination interface units receive fault information of the location and type of fault, which has occurred. Swift recovery from a faulty state is enabled.

  • Patent number: 4168727
Abstract: A whipped cream making machine comprising a fixed whipping barrel, having a substantially labyrinth passage defined therein, to which a liquid milk product is supplied under pressure after having been sucked by and mixed with a gas in a suction pump. The liquid milk product mixed with air is emulsified as it flows through the labyrinth passage in the fixed whipping barrel and then is supplied towards a rotary whipping barrel having therein a stirring rod rotatable about its longitudinal axis. The emulsified milk product is stirred so that it can further be emulsified during its flow through the rotary whipping barrel. The machine further comprises a platform arrangement for the support of an article to be decorated with the whipped cream discharged from a dispensing nozzle of the whipping machine.

  • Patent number: 4144293
Abstract: A machine for making an emulsified product from a mixture of a gas and a liquid milk product capable of forming a foam which comprises a fixed whipping barrel, having a substantially labyrinth passage defined therein, and to which the liquid milk product, after having sucked by and mixed with the gas in a suction pump, is supplied under pressure. The liquid milk product mixed with air is emulsified as it flows through the labyrinth passage in the fixed whipping barrel and then supplied towards a rotary whipping barrel having therein a stirring rod rotatable about its longitudinal axis. The emulsified milk product is, during its passage through the rotary whipping barrel, stirred by the rotary stirring rod so that it can be further emulsified to provide a highly homogenized emulsion which is subsequently discharged from a dispenser.
