  • Patent number: 11934305
Abstract: According to an embodiment, when receiving a read request designating a logical address range of a particular size or more from a host, a first circuit issues a plurality of first sub-commands, each of which is a sub-command for each first data unit, in order of logical addresses. A second circuit respectively adds serial numbers corresponding to the plurality of first sub-commands in the order of issuance. A plurality of third circuits respectively executes processing of specifying locations of the first data unit based on management information for the plurality of first sub-commands in a distributed manner. A fifth circuit reorders the plurality of first sub-commands in the logical address order based on the serial numbers after the processing by the plurality of third circuits. A sixth circuit executes a read operation on a first memory based on the plurality of first sub-commands reordered in the order of logical addresses.

  • Patent number: 4797754
Abstract: With the inventive method, after a servo pattern data including index pattern is written onto the servo disk in a magnetic disk unit, a variety of software processes is effected thereafter, and the servo pattern data having been written is read and the index pattern is detected, a varify data is outputted, the comparison between the read index pattern data and the verify data is started, thereby verifying the validity of the writte servo pattern data. More particularly, immediately after completion of said variety of software processes and without waiting for the revolution of the servo disk, the verify data is compared with the read servo pattern data, whereby the write of servo pattern data onto the magnetic disk and the read verify process can be effected speedily.

  • Patent number: 4411609
Abstract: A method of and an apparatus for molding a plastic wherein the injection pressure (transfer pressure) is switched to a holding pressure when the internal pressure of the mold cavity sensed by a pressure sensor reaches a predetermined injection pressure (transfer pressure), to initiate holding of the pressure applied to the cavity. The holding pressure is removed when the internal pressure thereof becomes zero or in accordance with the detection of a predetermined inflection point in the internal pressure which is indicative of a gate sealing point in the mold cavity or is brought to a predetermined value close to zero. The molded articles are of high precision finishes, and conservation of energy and natural resources can be achieved.

  • Patent number: 4045773
Abstract: A pattern segmenting system for a pattern recognizing device, including a pattern memory for storing character information, means for reading out the character information from the pattern memory, means for detecting the start and end points of a subpattern in the character information and for calculating the center of the subpattern in accordance with the start and end points thereof, means for deciding whether or not the center thereof is within a selected character frame, and means for segmenting the subpattern when the center thereof is within the selected character frame and for regarding the frame as a blank when it is not within the selected character frame.
