  • Patent number: 7315404
Abstract: When a group print job is to be processed, a print application issues a grouping start instruction to a print system client first. The respective print jobs are then transmitted to a spooler. The print system client extracts the print jobs and sends them to a printer in accordance with scheduling by a print system server. In this case, if a transmission retry, transmission error, error after transmission, or the like occurs in a member print job belonging to the group job, the corresponding status is set as the status of the group job. The subsequent processing is performed as if the error had occurred in the overall group job.

  • Publication number: 20070279691
Abstract: A form processing apparatus receives input data from an external form processing system via an operating system. When there is a request to print form data, the form processing apparatus adds an identifier to the form data, and then transfers the form data to the operating system. The form processing apparatus includes an identifier determination unit configured to receive data output from the operating system, and to determine whether the identifier has been added. When it is determined that the identifier has not been added, the data output from the operating system are saved in a saving unit, as form data from the external form processing system.

  • Publication number: 20070273923
Abstract: For example, when a large number of printer objects is registered in a Windows® system, a large amount of resources is consumed. Thus, a single computer is not sufficient, so that a plurality of computers is used. This results in an increased cost. With an output port of a first printer object that is set to a spooler of an operating system, a plurality of second printer objects is associated. Specification of one of the second printer objects is associated with a print request to the first printer object, so that print-job data is output to a printer at an output destination associated with the specified second printer object.

  • Patent number: 7068388
Abstract: A print application (703) issues print job grouping start and end instructions to a print system (client) (707). The print system (client) (707) reads out the job information spooled at the time of reception of a grouping start instruction from a spooler (705) and stores the information. The print system (client) (707) reads out job information spooled at the time of reception of a grouping end instruction from the spooler (705). The print system (client) (707) then extracts jobs that do not coincide with the stored job information as print jobs to be grouped from the spooler (705) and outputs them.

  • Patent number: 6846371
Abstract: A method of producing a high-strength high-toughness martensitic stainless steel seamless pipe which includes heating a martensitic stainless steel raw material to an austenitic range and subjecting the raw material to piercing and elongating to form an original pipe. The original pipe is cooled to form a structure substantially composed of martensite in the original pipe. The original pipe is reheated to a temperature in the dual-phase range between the Ac1 transformation point and the Ac3 transformation point, and is subjected to finishing rolling at an initial rolling temperature T (° C.) between the Ac1 transformation point and the Ac3 transformation point. The original pipe is then cooled to form a processed pipe. The processed pipe is tempered at a temperature below the Ac1 transformation point. The reduction in area R in the finishing rolling step may be in the range of 10% to 90%, and the initial rolling temperature T and the reduction in area R may satisfy the relationship 800?T?0.625R?850.

  • Patent number: 6829059
Abstract: A client PC has a virtual print server service (client) for searching a server on a network and issuing a print request to the searched server. The server has a virtual print server service (server) for searching a printer on the network on the basis of the print request from the client and registering a print job into the searched printer. Thus, when the client PC temporarily participates in the network and allows the printer connected to the network to print, the troublesome setting in the client PC is unnecessary.
