  • Patent number: 8815034
Abstract: A pneumatic radial tire includes: at least one carcass layer suspended across left and right bead parts; a belt layer arranged on an outer circumferential side of the carcass layer; and a tread arranged on an outer circumferential side of the belt layer. The tread has a laminated structure in which a thermoplastic film layer of a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic elastomer composition is interposed between a tread-side rubber layer and a belt layer-side rubber layer. The thermoplastic elastomer composition is obtained by blending an elastomer in a thermoplastic resin. A process for producing a retreaded tire includes the steps of: forming a base tire from the pneumatic radial tire by softening the thermoplastic film layer through heating so as to separate and remove the tread-side rubber layer, the pneumatic radial tire having the tread worn away; and subsequently bonding a new tread-side rubber layer onto the base tire.

  • Patent number: 7039889
Abstract: An apparatus for designing a mask that enables quick mask design. A generation unit generates data regarding a mask pattern formed on a mask from design data regarding an exposure pattern transferred onto a semiconductor substrate. A calculation unit calculates an exposure pattern transferred onto the semiconductor substrate by applying a filter having a predetermined characteristic to the data regarding a mask pattern generated by the generation unit. A correction unit corrects the data regarding a mask pattern generated by the generation unit by comparing the exposure pattern calculated by the calculation unit and the design data.

  • Patent number: 7031019
Abstract: To provide high-speed printing with an inexpensive arrangement, a dedicated printer control hardware circuit 5 is provided between a printer driver 1 of a host computer and a printer 9. The printer driver 1 divides an image to be printed into an illustration (a natural image), such as a photograph or a drawing, and characters/graphics. The printer driver outputs full-color RGB raster data for the illustration, while performing color conversion/halftoning for the character/graphic data and outputting binary CMYK raster data. The control circuit 5 performs color conversion/halftoning for the full-color illustration RGB raster data to convert them into binary CMYK raster data. Then, the control circuit 5 superimposes the obtained binary CMYK raster data and the binary CMYK raster data for characters/graphics to form binary CMYK raster data for a complete print image, and transmits the final binary CMYK raster data to the printer 9.

  • Publication number: 20020147969
Abstract: An optimizing object code translation system and method perform dynamic compilation and translation of a target object code on a source operating system while performing optimization. Compilation and optimization of the target code is dynamically executed in real time. A compiler performs analysis and optimizations that improve emulation relative to template-based translation and interpretation such that a host processor which processes larger order instructions, such as 32-bit instructions, may emulate a target processor which processes smaller order instructions, such as 16-bit and 8-bit instructions. The optimizing object code translator does not require knowledge of a static program flow graph or memory locations of target instructions prior to run time. In addition, the optimizing object code translator does not require knowledge of the location of all join points into the target object code prior to execution. During program execution, a translator records branch operations.
